Hopefully that’ll be the last of things breaking down on you as they say it happpens in 3s.
Enjoy doing your spending plan with the new wage.
It’s good your sil made an appearance...and that your mum and dad are getting away from this horrid rain we’re having to some sunshine.

I'm so pleased to hear that SIL made it to the birthday celebration. It must have meant a lot to your DD and GC. I hope she is coping well as this must be such an upheaval and an uncertain time for her and the children.

 to the electrical meltdowns! As you say though, thank goodness for the EF. I'll be interested to hear how you get on with the cordless vacuum. Been thinking of one for myself as they are so light and unbulky.

Glad to hear all is working out with your new colleague and hope all goes well with the volunteering.

  • It certainly is lucky you have an emergency fund! Did you buy all three electrical items at the same time or is it just unfortunate random chance that they all went wrong at the same time?

I'm glad SIL was able to make the family meal, it must be difficult for her to cope.

Enjoy your new volunteering sessions :).

Good to hear from you :)

Glad SIL made an effort even though it was for a short time. Great news that your parents are having a holiday in the sun, it will do them the world of good.

It's true everything breaks down in 3s, always the same, thank goodness for the EF :(

    Have a good week xx

I got a Shark cordless in January, pay over 3 months, & I love it.
So much better than Dyson was.

  • We had a Dyson once in our extravagant days and I wasn't that impressed with it. Stepdad has a Henry which he likes.
