  • Enjoy the weekend Cumbria.

The thing you were saying before about the pictures of the night our making you sad you weren't there- if you're friends are like my friends they vamp up their happiness when they see a camera. But yes I get that pang too. Social media is not our friend. xx

Thanks a PSL for dropping by.

The refund from insurance company has hit credit card minus the £25 fee:eek:. I have now emailed asking for that back. Also paid the correct insurance in full., second year all insurances paid in full for. :A

The weather is pants for driving to the Lakes , but I will take my time.

    Have a good day everyone.

Beautiful scenery yesterday lives the heart in one way , but makes me sad in other ways. Special memories are held in Windermere and sometimes they take over.

Today owing to being out yesterday I need to go shopping and be frugal , cleaning, ironing etc.

Yesterday I spent £15 on lunch for myself and friend . No more Invitations now until after 18th September. I emailed the insurance company about the £25 cancellation fee and they are going to reimburse it ! :j

Need to do a frugal shopping list , so best get going .

Morning Cumbria :) Glad you had some nice outings with friends. Great news about the reimbursement, I should think so too!

I also need to do a VERY frugal shopping list.

    Have a lovely day xx
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • Glad you had a good time with friends on Friday and Saturday.

It's a good idea to freeze the gym membership. I've got fairly fit through walking and now I'm starting Pilates I'm sure that will help.

    Have a good frugal Sunday.

Glad you had a good day up here yesterday though I wish the weather had been better for you. Intermittent showers most of the morning though it did get out in the afternoon thankfully. We were near Keswick in the morning and there was a coach trip just pulling into the car park as the heavens opened - fortunately they could dash into Booths, and it didn't last long, well as long as it took me to buy a couple of Herdy Mugs (seconds) and a Herdy umbrella for DS1's gf.
