Well done with the Sky cancellation. It is easier in the first flurry of debt busting so it is good that you have continued to find ways to cut costs.
I had +net for ages with no problems. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I agree with you DIA, it had irked me for ages that I was paying for something I didn't really need.
Today was NSD 3 which is always pleasing. Had my yearly pension forecast today and am pleasantly surprised by it. I confess to never really looking at it properly. The figures look ok but they are for when I am 67. Not really looking forward to having to work till then. As soon as debt is paid off I intend to get my plan together for retiring . The only good thing I have done in recent years is contribute to the pension scheme.

We got rid of Sky this month, we did it a couple of years ago but got it back on an excellent deal last year so the boys could have the Sport but after that it rarely got used. I was happy for it to potter along as the price was so good and it was nice to find something to watch whenever I had ironing to do or some spare time, however with catch up and Netflix/Prime available monthly, it's only a little bit of effort to find something really.
Still grey and misty up here. Yesterday we had rain but today is just mizzling and pale grey. I wish it would send down the proper stuff and be done with it. The river is so high though - I'm sure people down in the town must be starting to get concerned.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

Today my DGD have been challenging to say the least. I was very pleased to see mummy in her car shortly before 5.
I spent £9.00 play centre entry. £4.00 juice, tea and toast. Then DGS had a happy meal £2.99. Plus a loaf of bread for DD £1.10 . No wonder my money has all gone.
No real plans for the weekend, waxing tomorrow though. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
