Hope you have some good weather today.0 -
Well this holiday has been a delight, looking after the DGD has given me plenty of exercise and doing things that have been different to the norm. Thrown in with visiting friends last weekend. Today we went to soft play £8.00 altogether. Tomorrow I am visiting a friend and having lunch out. Payday today as well but will sort that out on Sunday.
I am very tired tonight , it's all caught up with me .This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Thank you Beanie, I have enjoyed myself this past week or so. Everything has been budgeted for and no CC spending .
Today lunch was £8.74 for me , which was good considering where we were. I also bought a jacket from Laura Ashley in the sale reduced from £75 to £23 . I have been looking for ages for a smart jacket thst didn't crease and today I found it.
Need to make a shopping list for tomorrow now .This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Today is get ready day for the return to work tomorrow. I need food shopping my fridge is very bare. Petrol as well I am driving on thin air. No housework as such, I did it Tuesday and can wait until bank holiday next weekend . Do have washing to sort out and the bathroom needs a clean.
I have the ironing mountain as well to clear.
Budget needs looking at and a new SOA needs doing as Sky goes tomorrow. I have also seen some presents suitable to take to Australia , which I want to order. Plus I need to order my mums birthday present , post a card for a friend.
I have started getting my craft stuff together to make Christmas cards for Australia as well .
This week will be hard going I think as less staff owing to holidays and it's still our busy time. However only 4 days so just take it a day at a time.
Best get moving then .This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Sounds like you've had a lovely time with your GD
The jacket was a real bargain! I used to love buying something as a treat from good shops like Laura Ashley, Phase 8 and Hobbs, sadly all disappeared now either altogether or just concessions. The staff used to treat you so well even if you were just buying a t-shirt and they would wrap it up in tissue paper and put it in a nice (free!!!!) carrier bag.
Hope you get everything done but still find time to put your feet up at some stageI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
