    Made it there and back from the North East feeling refreshed and ready to take on the DGC . Came home late last night and have spent the day cleaning, washing and shopping. Have been to the hospital today with my nose ! They are very pleased with how it has healed and discharged me. One less thing to think about.

    I haven't added up my spends , but am still on target for being in budget . Friday we are off to the zoo with both DGC , tomorrow myself and DGS are off on the ski slope . We will be hurtling down the snow on rings and a luge. It was a groupon offer £18 for both of us including jackets, trousers and boots. I am up for anything !

    Thursday will be swimming again and possibly the park . Haircut Thursday night . Then Saturday off to friends for the day.

    I am feeling very unsettled at home at the minute , for a silly reason. We have 8 car parking spaces and there are now 8 cars here as new people have moved in. I am getting all upset with myself because I may have to park on the road, which is less than 30 yards from my door. For what reason I have no idea !

    Anyway need to get ready for tomorrow.

    We had a great time on the ski slope, sledging etc. Well worth the £18 we paid for one and a half hours , including snow boots, trousers and jackets. I want to go again.

    Lunch after £12.45 , bit expensive , but hoping tomorrow will be a cheap day .

    Yay for the ski trip. How lovely to do something immersive and energetic.
    Weird weather up here, warm but muggy and overcast skies.
    I went down to South Cumbria yesterday to visit relatives and was excited for the train journey as it goes along the coast but it was poor visibility and low clouds and the most excitement I had was spotting the engines at Ravenglass. Coupled with the complete mess that Northern have made of the timetable resulting in a 2hour journey taking almost 4hours of my time, it was a bit of a disappointment. Still was lovely to see relatives. Are you up again before the 'summer' is over?

    Well we were going to come today, but the Chill Factore at the Trafford Centre won. I am, coming up the 2nd weekend in September to visit my friends . I have been up a couple of times for a day visit. The weather is the same here today as well. Agree about Northern Trains , complete mess . :)

    I love watching at the. Chill factore but am not brave enough to go on ice - I admire your courage. We often go to w'spoons next door as my sil lives very close to there. In fact when it was hot we went on the balcony there just to cool down!!!128514;!!!128514;

    I can understand the desire to sit on the balcony when it was warm. The weatherspoons is good there . I have certainly used some energy today that is for sure . :)

    A. much cheaper day today , swimming at my gym with DGS . Followed by lunch at Great grandparents. A trip to Greggs for a gingerbread man cost me 75p.

    Tonight hair done by niece £20 for cut and colour.

    Tomorrow not sure yet what we are doing , all dependent on the weather.
