Hi there
Sneaks in, looking innocent!
How are things in Lancashire this fine morning? My mum in Rochdale has struggled with the heat but was full of beans on Friday evening having had scallops at the local Chinese restaurant.
I too am struggling with the heat. Yesterday I had to go to a pharmacy to get some advice about a bite behind my knee and the car temperature was 42c which cooled to 37! That was mid-afternoon although at least the pharmacy was air-conditioned. My purse needed air-conditioning after spending 8 euro on cream to soothe my leg.
I've been swimming everyday around 8pm for an hour or so. It's very quiet at that time and the only company I have are bats, parakeets and swallows. I know you have a pool at your gym but did you know walking in water or simply treading water uses lots of calories?
How is the travel fund coming along? Does it seem to still be ages away or do you feel it's just around the corner? I love traveling but it has mainly been in Europe. I forget how big Spain is until I researched going to Santiago de Compostela and found it to be 1.5 hours. It's always been on my travel bucket list.
Now I'm away to watch MotoGP on the BT app. I've been quite domesticated this morning and I have watered the plants with washing up water and from running the shower. Washing hung out and another load in. Rubbish taken to bin and bed changed. Cor, sounds as though I have been a busy bee but I like to get things done very early or later in the evening.
Hope you have a lovely Sunday and a restful week too
Take care honey

What a lovely surprise Pauline, thank you for stopping by.
The weather is lovely today about 25c , not as hot as Spain. It's great to hear you are doing so well out there . You seem to function better in Spain than at home. Your days seem ideal, although I would miss my family to stay there for a long time.
The spends are coming along ok , I probably have enough for the moment. I want to try and get the CC down that is my main aim.
Enjoy the rest of your day, keep us up to date on how you are doing.0 -
It's Sunday again, life is flying by.
On Friday the DGC and I had a picnic packed for a day in the park about 30 mins away. As we got near the heavens opened , I diverted to a wacky warehouse play area. The lady let DGD in for free , so it was £3.75 for DGS . We didn't buy any drinks or food. We came home and had our picnic lunch on the lounge carpet on the rug. The sun came out so we went to a local park. DGS was not very ill and was sick, he hadn't been well for a couple of days. We made it to the local park for 45 mins but DGS wasn't good.
Saturday went to local shopping centre walking , bought all the cards I need up until the new year. Just need to sort Xmas cards . Spent around £8 . Bought bucket and spade for DGS as we are hoping to go to the seaside on Wednesday £4 .
Shopping today was £21.15 , I am on leave from Wednesday until the 20th. Going to the Yorkshire dales to visit friends on Friday until late Monday after the children have been picked up on Friday I will drive there.
Have finally got my appointment to see specialist in London. Booked train tickets £62.50 . Accommodation is at the hospital as going the day before £58 for both my mum and I . Not a cheap trip but will hopefully answer some questions about my health especially after last winter.
Car is in for MOT and service on Tuesday as well. Money is ready for that. This month is a very expensive one , but I am coping well with my budget.
Have 8 items on eBay and 5 will sell definitely. The money is going to CC .
Off to sort lunch for work tomorrow.0 -
