I'll be interested to hear if the GP works, Mooloo. If it does I might just try it myself0

Very productive day, did £182 worth of work even though due to phone calls etc and later start then planned.
I am popping back in tomorrow though as I never did get the wedding dress done. I was doing trousers and zips mostly. I had quite a few fittings too. BF gave me a lift home afterwards as I had walked down this morning.
He's snoozing on the sofa and I am sort of watching tv and on here. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Didn't sleep too well and when BF went to work I fell back to sleep only waking up suddenly about 10 minutes ago. Late for me. However I have no time stamps to fill. I have just made my cup of tea and will peruse my email etc while I drink that. I have been trying to do some visualisation to focus on successful days, the future of the shop etc etc but I do struggle to keep my mind on topic. I find it chatters away incessantly after a few moments and then I am falling asleep with very intense dreams. I don't wake up very refreshed. I was up to the loo every 1 1/2 - 2 hours last night needing the loo. Obviously I have been drinking more water in the evenings and much less wine or tea. Because I wanted to flush my system after the holidays but it is making me flush the loo more too!! I have found that since having a denture my tongue is always fiddling and my mouth gets very dry. So it doesn't help having a sensitive bladder as well!
I have been taking the GP in a frozen bean shape each evening and it is making a change to my ability to go to the loo, less constipated so that is a good thing for me. Too early to say about the joints.
My eye test is next Wednesday morning and I will have to be tested for Macular Degeneration as that's what Mum has and my brother has recently been diagnosed too.
I am having instant porridge in the morning as quick and easy since my dental work, and then I have sometimes been having it at lunchtime at work as staff has also taken to liking it. Yesterday I noticed the packet at home mysteriously low, and BF has started to take it to work in the morning too. Better get some more when I go food shopping then.
My morning alarm to leave for a usual school run just went off and I am still sitting in bed writing this and drinking my tea, with my SAD lamp on!
I suppose that I should make a move and get a few things done around the house before I head back to work to try to clear the desk.
Hopefully BF and I will go out for a while this evening, as no small person to deal with. Tomorrow he goes home and I go to see twin2 in Cornwall. I know that it will be a hell of a drive there and back on Easter weekends but I couldn't do it any other time. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Wishing you a safe journey
Thankyou
I managed to get into work and do the wedding dress ready for next weekend fitting. I also did a few small jobs on Trousers etc. The weather looked grim so I stopped to come home before rain hit as I went with out my coat.
I am home, had a cheese and ham toastie as I was cold and hungry.
I am not sure what I will do next, relax seems to be a good option, but I may get a little more umph and either attack the clutter or maybe play in my work space here at home. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Mooloo, might be better to take your starter dose of GP in the morning - it only stays in your system 6 ish hours so if you are going to feel benefit, you want it during the day (though you will probably need to be on it longer and have built up to more doses before you feel benefit) and also it is a mild dierectic so may affect loo going in the night.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0

Sitting up in bed in the B&B, having a cuppa before we get dressed to go down to breakfast. Hadnt realised that the facilities were across the hall from the bedroom and not ensuite so we have borrowed robes from the landlady. Small but comfortable room. However the walls are quite thin so we could here the people in the room next door talking and snoring!
So Mum and I didn't get much sleep.
We took the A roads and avoided the motorway except at the start of the journey before Oxford. It took us about 7 hours to get here, but we did stop 3 times.
Took a taxi to go out for a meal in the evening as I just didn't want to drive anymore.
Spent the rest of the evening in the room watching the TV and chatting.
Today we are going to see twin2 and make sure that her bridesmaids dress fits, and go out to lunch. What we do in the afternoon will be depending on the weather. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
We went to twin2s place, it's not too bad, thankfully. She tried on the dress, if anything it's a little short on her, but if she wears flats she should be ok. We went for a wander around Par Market and bought Bigfoot socks for my brother and I bought a hat in anticipation of the wedding.
We had lunch at a local pub and then dropped them back home. (I couldn't cope much longer with the BF. He is rather loud and silly, )
Mum and I went down to Charles town for an amble around the harbour and to kill some time.
We spent the evening watching tv in the B&B
We are just getting up now, and going for breakfast before the long drive home. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Glad it went well, apart from the annoying BF!0

I was on the road from 10am - 7pm in the end! With one 5 minute bathroom stop and a 40 minute lunch in a hotel enroute. The sat Nav originally estimated around 5 hours. Traffic was very heavy in deed through the southern counties. I will not be doing that again in a hurry. I think I will be earmarking some savings into a train fare fund to bring twin2 home once in a while. I am still very tired but I have to go to work as I have fittings booked at 9.30 and others between 3. And 4.30pm
Dgd comes home today and will have to come to the shop with me for the rest of the day too.
Luckily I don't have masses of work to do as I went in on Friday.
I was going to walk to work but maybe I will have to drive as DGDs cases etc will need to be brought back home.
I will be starting to take the gp this morning instead of the evening, and try to get into a routine with it.
I have had my morning cuppa and really should be getting ready to go to work now, but all I want is to turn over and go back to sleep! When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
