I also have it in other joints. My knees have had it but I try to keep going because I don't want to go down the path of replacements yet and I am 61. I think it is the tests that are useless.I was told to take up to 8 aspirin a day and that my pain was probably from a virus !! Needless to say I did not take that advice. I rub olbas oil or lavender oil on any painful joints to ease the pain.
My hands are quite bad at the moment as are my knees. I will have to go back to see the doctor after my holiday. I don't have time before I go.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

You need to start taking Turmeric & Black pepper. It has excellent anti-inflammatory properties and can alleviate pain from rheumatoid arthritis, plus lots of other conditions.
Google Golden Paste and (if you're on Facebook) there's a supportive group called Turmeric User Group which is medically run and can supply any info and support you might need.0 -
I have heard about it on here before. I just worry about the taste, smell etc I should be braver! I may have to be!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0

Thanks to Feral Moon for bringing up GP. Again. Do hope you decide to try it, Mooloo. In a few weeks' time you'll be amazed - and kicking yourself for all the pain and stiffness you could have avoided!I have heard about it on here before. You can freeze GP in molds like this one:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Chocolate-Cookie-Silicone-Moulds-Baking/dp/B01D9T64O4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1490739223&sr=8-1&keywords=silicone+coffee+bean+mold
Then swallow decanted frozen "GP pills" with a drink or yogurt, just as you would any other tablets (always take with food).
Eventually the taste becomes more acceptable; I enjoy the wholesome earthiness of it now. Making GP with coconut oil helps.0 -
I have bitten the bullet and ordered the paste and the trays and will have a go when I get back from Portugal. I will see how it works as I am struggling.
Dgd is off to her school trip and back Friday
I took mum to the fabric shop and we both bought a few pieces and then we had a pub lunch and a little retail therapy in the charity shop before I came home via my massage.
I also bought a couple of things off of the local Facebook car boot so collected them. I am home now with a cuppa and my feet up. BF has arrived but gone out for a run.
I might do a little sewing for myself in the work space I made last week. I am in a creative mood. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Thanks Feral Moon and Robin - I have just ordered some paste.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0

Those are exactly the same moulds I use. Each contains exactly 1/4tsp of paste.0
