The size of the memory is not the issue, i have a 16gb sd card inserted.
The size of the internal memory is the issue. A puny 4GB is useless.
A SD 16GB memory card is no replacement for the internal memory a modern phone needs. A SD card cannot run the operating system.0 -

Yes, I pointed out that, by responding solely to sneer on a CONSUMER RIGHTS website that advocates finding good deals for people, you aren't answering my question. That's called trolling and I'm perfectly entitled to have a moan about it, as you put it. Why should you be entitled to ruin someone else's discussion? If you don't have an answer or have nothing positive to contribute then don't respond at all.0 -

It's not the OS that's the issue, it's the stock apps.0 -
Yes the stock apps and the operating system use up the 4GB GB memory. It needs the Google apps etc to run.
Buying any 4GB phone will have the same issues
Its only £20 phone
I threw my old Samsung 4Gb phone in the bin

It seems to have gone over your head that you still haven't actually asked a question in your original post. That aside if you can't actually uninstall the stock apps (something you can do on the higher level Vodafones) then (if you don't need them) just disable them and uninstall the updates and cache for them from settings/apps. That'll free up some space, then move everything possible to the SD card.0 -
As above, see if you can disable them.0

I've addressed it with the statement to buy a 16GB memory phone, you are complaining about apps, the majority still need installation or part installation on the phone memory.
Your 16GB memory card is good for media like music and photos though...
You bought one of the cheapest phones on the market with tiny internal memory and are now !!!!!ing and moaning that it won't do what better, more expensive phones will. Really, what did you expect?
Let's paraphrase the answer I already gave, take it back and buy a phone that's more suitable if you want to install lots of apps.====0 -

Good for you. I'm not interested in throwing anything in the bin, that's a bizarre attitude to take on a site like this.
And it's ironic that people were quick to post here sneering my apparent ignorance, but not so quick to responid when I asked about this very device in an earlier thread.
Hard to take you all seriously really, especially given the political bias this site has long since shown.0 -

Why respond when you haven't shown the slightest interest in what i've said?0
