This morning I banked £100 of my lovely gold coins so they are now back in circulation and up for grabs :j

With the £100, I've started an emergency fund as I didn't have one until now. Feels good to get one up and running.

And, tonight, I've managed to secure another one for my pot so am now up to £114 :T

Yes, I am in a roll. Hubby bought another four home for me today. My pot is starting to feel heavy. But still lots of room in it for many more.

Wow, your hubby is good isn't he!

I had to tease the coins out of my pot as its one of those that you have to break so spent an hour this morning with a pair of tweezers and a knife. Just felt that I needed to keep the pot to keep me saving but also had this overwhelming feeling that it would do more good being stashed somewhere in case I desperately needed it.

When I get past the £200 mark, I will repeat the process again. Hopefully that won't be too long.

Yes, he is good. He does the shopping whilst I am at work.

I tease £2 coins out with a ruler as well, so that I can reuse my pot.

Clunk! Goes another £2 coin into the pot.
