Welcome to the £2 Savers Club 2017

The aim is to collect every £2 coin you can lay your hands on! It is entirely up to you whether you want to:
A) Save for a particular length of time e.g. monthly or till December 2017,
B) Save for a particular reason e.g. to pay the car insurance, to pay for a family holiday or to buy birthday presents throughout the year,
C) Save until you have a specific amount e.g. £20 or £100 or a pot full!
D) Save for any other reason you can think of...
You are also welcome to do what you wish with the money. Either bank it as you please or at the end of the year or spend it as required.

Above all else remember this is a fun thread, but the aim of this website is to SAVE, so any encouragement, comments or help you can give to others are always very welcome.

Anyone who wishes to join (or be removed though I hope that isn’t the case!) is always very welcome, please just ask and I will add you as soon as I can and allocate you a number. Also, if anyone wants to add anything to the list such as a target or a date to aim for etc. then let me know and I will add it. However there is no pressure to do this as many people just wish to be able to save as and when they can.

So that’s it. Start saving, comment regularly and hunt for those £2s. Any questions or comments please ask.

    I'm baaaaaaaaccccckkkkk!!!!

Please could I join for 2017, as I did in 2015 I will roll over what I saved in 2016, and start again at 0, I'm still using the same terrimundi pot as it holds 3k in gold coins so hopefully I will get closer to filling it up by the end of 2017.

My target is £550, which will bring my total to £2000.

Let's start 2017 as we mean to go on...

    Onwards and upwards

Count me in! I'm not going for a specific amount, just adding to my terrimundi of £2's from last year that when full will be paid into my DS's bank account! :)

I missed last year, but count me back in this year please!

Unfortunately Morrison's across the road closed last year and their self serve tills spewed out £2.00 like nobody's business, so I'm going to have to hunt the little divils down this year;)

No particular amount in mind, just see where I get to by the end of the year.
