    Please may I join? Saving for spending money for summer holiday, I'd like to have £80 by July. I'm staggered by the amount some people manage to save, I don't often come across £2 coins!

    Hi all,

    Can I please join too for 2017 with a target of £250 until December to treat myself with something nice for my birthday (which falls in December also)? I joined quite late in 2016 and with a house move got side tracked.

    Thanks Gem-Gem, I'm off to a good start as I just got 2 coins from the self-service at the supermarket. I'm sure there's an abundance of coins at this time of year from everyone having banked their previous years savings! :rotfl:

    An added bonus was an item that kept coming up with an error, the assistant ran it through manually as £2 instead of going to check the correct price, but I'm sure it was meant to have been nearly £3.

    £6 potted from Morrisons self check out, think people are banking all their coins as seems to be more passing my palm, (not including work, although someone did bank £400 in £1 and £2 coins today, brought in in a freezer box lol)
