Thank you Lucielle, Spendless, OBL and SH.
Yes, once this form is done all ties are severed. It’s just the financial one to take the already agreed and signed consent order through to clean break ( couldn’t get that with a judicial separation, only divorce).
Yesterday was lovely…I desperately needed time away from any work to do with job 1 or Job 2 and away from the housework so DD3 took DS3 and I out for a cliff top walk. It was wonderful to see and hear the sea and feel the sea breeze in my face!! We walked a fair way up quite a steep section of headland and it was so worth it for the view. The sea was turquoise in colour, changing to silvery grey as you looked further out. We could see cliffs in the immediate vicinity but the further cliffs were shrouded in mist. Along the coast path there were clumps of gorse, a vivid yellow, alongside the muddy path. I love the first gorse flowers, they always have coconut like fragrance. I felt so alive after the walk! DD3 did treat me to a coffee and a slice of cake after the walk, which I enjoyed . While I had been walking the cliffs SO tackled the food shop with the other children, which was very sweet of him. He shops in a completely different way to me so I think he found it easier with me on the cliffs, than in the shop!!
DD1 and SiL dropped in towards early evening so it was good to see them.Money wise, most of the direct debits have gone out. The latest mortgage payment has brought me down to the £144k bracket so over £4000 paid off so far. I just love that the balance is coming down.
Taught DD3 how to use a comparison site yesterday, to reduce the cost of her car insurance. She has gone from £600 a year to over £2000, despite no accidents or claims. Not quite sure how they can justify such an increase, but she has been able to find one that is £900 a year instead. Still more than last year but not the extortionate increase that the company wanted on renewal.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

Oh the post about your walk followed by photo have really made me want to see the sea! Despite my coastal ancestry, I have always lived such an annoyingly stupid way inland! I can see my "bungalows for sale - Suffolk coastal" online searches stepping up big-time.
I remember how satisfying I used to find it seeing how far our mortgage had come down each year.
