What a wonderful Sunday! Thank you for sharing - I'm too far inland to go to the sea very often so I appreciate seeing it through your eyes. My version was being up on the moors the other day listening to a rivulet trickling through the undergrowth.

Pasties and homemade brownies sound perfect. :)

I totally read the tip trip wrong. I thought you were meaning you'd received tips from Job 2 in change and had to take them to the bank to pay them in - lol. Jet lag and sad news affecting my sleep pattern. Going to the rubbish tip and reducing what you have left over at your place sounds good too though and the day at the beach sounds idyllic.

Hoping ex signs expeditiously, if not I'm sure you know that the court can though obviously you'll want to save the legal fees.

I may have misunderstood but if the lender has signed the document is the ex staying on the mortgage?  Or maybe you are staying with the same lender....

    Sorry, it's late (I can't sleep!)

Thank you Cherryfudge, Peb and SH.

Peb- I have a consent order signed from a year ago. It took me a while to find a mortgage provider that would allow me to take on the existing mortgage amount on a sole basis so basically removing the ex from the mortgage. The current mortgage provider wouldn’t allow me to just take the ex off and remortgage but the new provider has offered a sole mortgage. The new mortgage company’s legal team had to approve the transfer of equity wording…my part is all signed and am hoping I won’t have to go back to court this month.  It will also mean I can change from the current interest only mortgage to a repayment one which I am keen to do.

Pay day was yesterday so I’ve paid £288 off the next debt bringing it down to £200.

This week is another 4 shift week so am hoping I can chip away at the remaining £200.
    paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

    This is all sounding positive!

Brilliant to see that debt nearly gone, it really is so close!

Will the ex's name go off the deeds? I wouldn't like it if he let you do all the paying but still had a stake in the house! (Not that it's any of my business. :) )
