Ooh thanks for that Esmy, sounds lovely, will put that on my shopping list!I was going to go with "Get in the swing for Spring with Slimming World"??
Love it. I was trying to think of something clever but the best I could come up with was 'spring into spring'Good to see you back meg . I'm bang on the top of my target range but I'm another March birthday and it's Mothers' Day (both fortunately at weekends when I have syns in the bank) BUT we're going to Prague and Budapest for a week and I've heard the food is er....quite filling.
Ooh Maman I'm going to Budapest in July (I may have mentioned it) - would love to hear all your tips when you get back!
Nice to see you back Meg!
Welcome to all the newbies and delurkers!
Well I had an off plan day yesterday but back to business today.
B - Banana, passion fruit and FF Greek yog
D - Bacon, mushroom, onion and tomato omelette
T - I'm going to have a go at a Patak curry if I can find the paste!
Still trying to keep up the 777 thing too....
Staying in to wait for a parcel though, fingers crossed it gets here soon so I'm free to leave the house. Also going to attempt to make sew a roman blind for the kitchen today - I may have mentioned this before as it's been on my to do list for ages, but today's the day! Wish me luck!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

I'm another March Birthday (Aries)
had my Hawaiian last year which 1-1 tells EVERYONE (even OFSTED inspectors ). Not good with numbers though so thinks I'm 60 this year
Having a few tummy issues so wi looks like half on, may weigh again tomorrow if there's any 'movement'
Book week next week, hoping my skeleton onesie turns up in time if not will have to go as Wally again. Did go as a very camp Dennis the Menace one year. It was cold in shorts so wore tights as well, got some very strange looks while waiting at bus stop with son that day :rotfl:
Have a good weekend all and keep the faith :AIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

kathryna , I found that the food was disgusting in hospital but thankfully was only there by accident for one night. I did drink loads of water though to get the kidneys working so that's a positive. You should feel fine afterwards as it's not invasive surgery and you're not having an anaesthetic. This might be a good time to try the ready meals or persuade the family they can manage to cook a jacket potato! :rotfl:.
I've been told at least 24 hours in afterwards and only a couple of stitches from where they shove the camera in (the rest being just puncture wounds) so yes hopefully wont feel to bad, although the sedation could effect me for a number of hours. Been told I will feel bruised afterwards.
But definitely relieved they aren't doing a full nephrectomy.
I have chilli, bolgnese and pulled pork in the freezer, that my daughter has instructions for defrosting and heating up, and she can cook rice, pasta, wedges and jacket potatoes so food is all sorted.
Is it bad that my 10 year old is in charge of food rather than my husband?Zebras rock0 -
Thanks for the welcome! Just back from WI and due to a loss this week my starting point will be 4 stone 5 1/2 lbs. So all being well by end of April I'll be well on my way to my 5 1/2 stone award.....
Menu for today:
B - overnight oats (hexB) with raspberries
L - Baked eggs, with Quorn meatballs, mushrooms and tinned tomatoes
D - Quorn beefsteaks (1 syn), SW chips, mixed salad, horseradish sauce (2 syns)
Milk in teas and coffees for hexA, fruit (apple, pear and cherries) and chopped carrots and celery as snacks if needed. Will probably have an options hot choc later for 2 syns to bring me up to min 5 for the day.
Hoping for a good loss next week, as although I was totally on plan last week with loads of speedy F+V I was a bit disappointed with a smallish loss. Just have to fight the disappointment and stay on it this week as hopefully it's just a bit of a lag - hormones eh?!0 -
Hi all
I'm out for a short notice lunch again today at a very good Thai restaurant- it's no wonder I struggle to lose weight when my social life revolves around food :rotfl: I will endeavour to make SW friendly choices and I'm also driving so it will be diet soft drinks instead of wine.
Thanks for that tip about curry paste Esmy, I'm never very keen on SW curry recipes, they just don't meet my expectations!
TIE - I had to laugh at your 1-1 thinking your age goes up in decades! Reminded me of a lady I know, she's a bit dippy and famous for some of the daft things she comes up with but the best one was at Christmas 2000 when she asked what we were doing for the millennium this year....:rotfl: Love your dog btw - what were you eating?
Have a good weekend everyone.

I wasn't eating anything, he's not a foody! Well only with my son who accidentally on purpose drops food. He was giving me the eye as it was walk time and I wasn't moving quick enough for him :rotfl:
