Hi
Understanding balance transfer is not my strongest point, however I am looking for advice on transferring current debt on my credit card to another interest free (if this is possible)
Currently have £2445 outstanding in Halifax credit card which I have had for some years, I pay in £100 each month, but interest adds £50 per month so really I'm only paying £50 per month
Any help on how to change would be great or what I can do

Put your details through the eligibility checker which will give you an indication of whether you are likely to be accepted for any 0% BT cards.

If you are accepted for a 0% card there may be a BT fee to pay - this is a small % of the balance, so would still be less than paying interest every month.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Budgeting & Bank Accounts, Credit Cards, Credit File & Ratings and Energy boards.
