Another load to charity this afternoon
838-839:packet of 2 school shirts-one worn once by my son to a wedding, the other never removed from the packet
    840:a gift bag
    841:sweater
    842:beanie
    843:bouncy ball
    844:pair of kid's jeans
    845:knitted jumper,still with labels on
846:pair of black jeans (adult),still with labels on
    847:V-tech toy computer
848:packet of Usborne activity cards: Things to Paint and Draw
    849:pop-up storage bin
    850:Hello Kitty handbag

    More kid's clothes:
    851:denim jacket
    852-853:dresses
    854:t-shirt
    856-857:leggings

I also walked in the charity shop with an ab-cruncher!! I thought the lady might tell me they don't have the space to keep one of those, hoping it will sell. But she didn't-she thought it was great.
So that is item number 858.

This morning ,I also continued the battle against paper:
859-861: 3 bundles of paper sorted through-stuff out for recycling, set aside for shredding,or binned
862:cut into tiny pieces a very old ID badge for an agency I joined but never actually did any work through. Why I have kept this in my house, rediscovering it every few months when I declutter, but never do anything with,I will never know :o.

Tonight,I sorted through a couple of bundles of papers with my 8- and 10-yo.I sold it to them as giving them an opportunity to sit up past their bedtime :rotfl:.
I am dreadful with the amount of kid's drawings, writings, artwork, certificates, etc that I keep.Problem is,if I find it ,say, lying around in their bedroom,I have no idea when a particular piece was drawn or written.nor how old child was.And that drives me crazy. So for about 20 minutes I got them to go through some papers/drawings with me,and they were able ro remmeber, roughly, when they did a particular piece. So I labelled drawings and was able to file them away.Am calling that 863-864,though probably should count as more because they have been hanging around so long :rotfl:

Had a couple of hours sorting through stuff before going to work this afternoon.
I gathered up some kids books that for ages I thought I would sell.Today I looked at them and realised that, actually,I can't be bothered going to the trouble of listing them, dealing with time-wasters,etc.So have put them into my car to tske to charity shop tomorrow.I will count them then.

865:fiiiiiiiiiinallllyyy decluttered the contents of my ironing basket. My ironing basket has had uniforms in,waiting to be ironed, for about the last 3 months.Even though I know it will be refilled when I wash uniforms on the weekend,I was sooooo pleased to see an empty ironing basket,I had to give it a number :rotfl:

We have a mortgage advisor coming tomorrow so last night was a big tidy up of the house (he'll most likely not go anywhere except the kitchen where we'll talk at the table but still, if he does, at least the place will look nice!). Was quite ruthless as I went, throwing all sorts of things away instead of just moving them somewhere else.

One thing I AM quite good at keeping safely and organized is paperwork. I thought I'd have everything ready for him - payslips, bank statements etc... WELL....

Could I find the last three months' payslips?? Could I heck!! I have EVERY payslip going back to 2013 (not quite sure why!) but not the last three months! Tore drawers apart and cupboards for almost an hour before remembering that we don't get them any more, they are online at work as we are trying to go paperless! Still, got rid of quite a lot of other "stuff" as I went along so I'm calling it a win!

I'm very "in the mood" for chucking stuff at the moment, quite annoyed that my whole weekend is booked up with things to do and places to go so I can't get on it RIGHT NOW. Monday is the plan, straight after the school run I'm going to clear out the childrens' clothes and toys. I find it quite difficult to charity shop/throw away their old toys as they all have memories but I WILL BE STRONG!!

Thanks for the welcome and keep on keeping on everyone!! :)
