Yeah mine is an iPhone too, so I could do that
I have written up the 'pitch' and taken pictures for listing my items for sale on fb selling groups etc.
I went through the wardrobe this evening and the other half has given me permission to list a load of clothes he has never worn, providing he gets the profits :rotfl:0 -
gemmajenkins0208 wrote: »Found the plug for the phone and it's all boxed back up and ready to go now, apart from the lead.
I know I won't be able to sell it in CeX or anywhere like that but does anyone know if I would be able to sell it on the local selling groups on fb or gumtree or somewhere like that, providing I clearly state that there is no charging lead?
It is a phone that will never be used by any of us anymore as we have all recently upgraded so to pass it on to someone who will use it and make a bit of cash in the process would be lovely
How about ebay? I've sold a phone on there before with no problems. As you say, as long as they know there is no lead it should be fine.
No decluttering for me today. I've been quite [STRIKE]poorly[/STRIKE] sleepy today having had some naps (:whistle:). But caught up on some TV, so decluttered that off sky planner :rotfl:
I've sold 2 things on ebay but won't count them until they are posted. People sometimes decide not to pay for things :mad:Saver-upper wrote: »146:yellow pages-was only delivered this week-straight to recycling without a glance.Such a waste-wish we could opt out of delivery.:(

Spent time this evening finishing cleaning the kitchen, though didn't get around to cleaning floor.
Also tidied up all the mess I had made in the front room.In amongst it all, found a random PE bag sitting around.I have no idea where it came from, but had obviously been bought back from our summer hols last year.So.....
160:random bag emptied of child's sunglasses,4 tiny jars of jam(!),base of a jelly mould(!!),and insert for a food-thermos(!!!)
161:child's dress up crown.Had been going to donate it,but realised it was missing a jewel,so binned
I also put a couple of empty plastic boxes into loft, after clearing the hatch of an avalanche .WHen I opened hatch, huge box of Christmads decs was blocking the entrance. It took about 15 minutes to manouvre the box so I could lower the ladder, while ensuring box's lid didn't break open and send contents onto my head and down the stairs.
I also bought a couple of things down from the loft to donate. Will list items after they have left my life.
Spent time decluttering my ironing basket (there is a job I hate, and I only iron school uniforms, and then only if really needed). Then, because I have spent years saying to shops "No thanks" when they ask if I want the hangers when I buy clothes,I spent ages trying to find hangers so I could hang girls' uniforms in newly-decluttered wardrobe.
Might see if there is some more paper I can easily declutter before I go to bed.SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

Had a friend visit me this afternoon. His motor bike had broken down and he wanted to leave it in the apartment car park. Wasn't able to refuse. Then he left some boxes in my apartment as he would have found it difficult to take them on the bus home. They are now residing in the ensuite of my spare bedroom but will be gone by Thursday.
I fed and watered him, and made use of him taking some rubbish down to the bins.
Now to today's list
953-954 envelopes
954-960 chipped crockery
961-970 non recyclable items
971-992 folders
993-1050 paperwork, booklets and leaflets
I've another list somewhere as I know it has toiletries on it - hope I've not shredded it!
found it!
1050-1099 paperwork
1100-1105 booklets
1106-1111 postcards
1112-1114 razors
1115-1121 OOD toiletries
1122-1124 files
1125-1145 toiletries to donate
Hopefully the large volume of items will decrease soon. I've gone through a lot of my files and now should only have up to date items - eg current bills/bank statements/user guides.
The post cards were ones I had sent to my ex when I was on holiday. Why I still had them 16 years later is anyone's guess, but I still have a large folder of things that belong to him and have just emailed him request that he comes and gets them or tell me what to do otherwise.

I didn't declutter paper,at all.
Instead I emptied the ironing basket :j.Tonight was the first time I have seen the bottom of my ironing basket since about October.
So,I think after what has basically been a 12 hour decluttering/sorting/tidying session,it might be time for bed!SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

Success is the good fortune that comes from aspiration, desperation, perspiration & inspiration ~ Evan Esar0 -
It is supposed to be blue Monday today, the most depressing day of the year and the foggy overcast weather is not helping!
In three minutes time I have an hour before I go to work [late start today], it would be so easy to just sit and mindlessly watch tv but not this week, i am having twenty minutes of getting ready, tidying up getting the ebay stuff ready.
The ebay stuff is a collection of clutter that was bought and never used or has served its purpose and has just been gathering dust!Don’t put it down - put it away!
