On Thursday I mentioned that I had started to declutter my emails.I also mentioned that it was taking a long time because I am not very tech-savvy,and I spent too much time browsing through some of the contents (lots of emails from decluttering fb pages/websites),lots of seperating int different folders, etc. In total, I spent just over 15 hours, over three nights, decluttering emails :eek:.
My inbox had started with 1901 emails in it :eek::eek::eek:,and by the time i finished ,at about 4 o'clock this morning, there were 22 :eek:.
I have already added emails decluttered on Thursday's post (overnight). On Thursday day-time I deleted/filed emails from 22 mailing lists, and unsubscribed from 17.It sounds like I am on every mailing list in the world.I'm not, but,eg, there were about 3 emails from Argos, because they seem to insist on emailing you a receipt.Suddenly you are on their mailing list.I unsubscribed from this, and counted it as "1" on my list.Same with B+Q from when we had the house extension last year.An unwanted mailing list-unsubscribed.
On Friday evening/into the wee hours of this morning,I was tidying up the 2 emials from here,3 emails from there, missed an email when filing the rest of them earlier........harder to count this section because there wasnt much deleting/unsubscribing,but there was about 50 different sources of emails
So I am counting 22+50,so 1643 on the list tonight:j:j:j.

On earlier post I also forgot to mention 2 items I had donated:
    1644:hair scrunchie
    1645:little purple trinket tin
    SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

  • I finally got rid of the charity shop bags! :j :j :j

My partners parents have just bought him a new car(he is waiting on being offered a trail run for a job that's in the middle of nowhere) and yesterday after insuring and taxing the car my dad took us over to pick it up.

I have been saying to my partner for the last few days that when we go to pick the car up I want to go through his stuff and bring most if not all of it back here then when we move it's all in one place and easier to move.

He literally sat there in his room and was going through every single item, with 3 rubbish bags in front of him taking the time to decide if he wanted to keep something, if it was rubbish to be thrown or if it could go to the charity shop.

He ended up basically emptying his room apart from furniture and we only came back here with 2 bin bags :D

His parents will dispose of the bin bag of rubbish for us and he has a bin bag in the boot of the car right now which needs to be taken to the charity shop at some point this week.

All that's left at his that he wants to pick up now are some teddies that he's had his whole life and a framed picture of a much loved horse that's no longer with us :o

DS has been and we have been to the cs with lots of books and CDs from his room. Didn't count them but there were at least five bags. As a conservative estimate I'm counting it as 💯.

    217/316) books/CDs to charity shop.
