2017 - No Clutter To Be Seen

Hi. I'd like to join in please. I know we're way past 1st January but I don't want to wait for next year when I've got the 'right' head on now iykwim.
I've been decluttering on and off for years - but you'd never guess from the state of the house. I've been lurking and taken inspiration / motivation from you all so actually started on Sunday listing items in my head as they went ...which is ok on Day 4 but going to be a nightmare remembering by day 14 never mind day 44! So a list ( I love lists) ...
1-2 plates washed and returned to dad
3-11 plates, dishes and jugs washed and returned to friend
12-13 replaced toothbrushes - old toothbrushes binned :A not kept just in case. Just in case what??? I already have an old toothbrush waiting to be used to scrub awkward places if needed.
14-16 replaced pillows on DS bed - old pillows binned. Again not kept just in case. No horde of overnight visitors has ever arrived and if they did I wouldn't give them ratty pillows!
....pause to breathe deeply at the thought of a horde of overnight visitors descending on me  ...
17-18 books in bag for cs
retrieved from DS bedroom floor:
19 piece of string (???)* - bin
20 Christmas card - recycled
21 empty deodorant can - recycled
* oh, I think it's the cord out of some PJ bottoms - it was buried beneath a pile of coat hangers - which are now hung in his wardrobe ( but I won't count them as the're not leaving the house). I'm not unbinning (is that a word?) as DS obviously hasn't needed said cord for a considerable amount of time/ doesn't know it was there / won't miss it.
Right - what can go next? ...

Found lots of money boxes and other containers containing coins, during my decluttering. I've banked £100 so far and will be giving half to DS. Still a bit more to bank. I've found some foreign coins as well, including Canadian ones. It's 13 years since I went to Canada :eek:3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -

Hello noelphobic :hello: DS has large piles of loose change dotted around his room and I've noticed there's a pile accumulating in front of the tv - I'll make a note to gather it up and get it turned into notes for him. Less clutter for me, more spendable dosh for him. :T Thank you.

Short lived clutter that DS took home. The bonus was that I decluttered an old blanket for him to use for Huckleberry.3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -
So we had the big stuff moved to the flat yesterday. These things were - a small corner sofa I bought from a friend, my corner TV unit, my bed frame only(I'm buying a new mattress before we move in properly), my DVD rack and my desk, in 2 parts, as it broke in transit :rotfl: ...
Subsequently, the part of the desk that broke(the drawers) was carted over to my partners dad after the removal man had been and gone and he fixed it within 10 minutes :j
Said drawers were carted back, we ate, slept, then this morning we carted the drawers to the flat along with a few other bags of stuff, then we picked up all the cardboard and rubbish from the flat and took it all down to the tip. We stopped in a local we-sell-everything shop on the way home and picked up the last few vital bits for the flat(kitchen bin, sponges/dish cloths, dish drainer etc. etc.) which is currently in my partners car boot so I will take it to the flat in the morning now0 -
