That's positive news Gemma Hope it all goes well.
Today I looked through my mountain of toiletries. I put back all the un-opened boxes. I then threw out 1 empty bottle, replaced the make-up remover with the last one in my stock. I then ditched 2 bottles of foot cream, some hand cream , some foot spray that smelt horrible. I then put a new shower gel in the bathroom to use and emptied out my toiletries bag I have filled that with small bottles and samples to take away on holiday. I also got rid of 3 magazines.0 -

Everything from under the bed sorted through and packed what I'm keeping.
Winter clothes freshly washed and packed away.
I've started going through the drawers and insides of things and got rid of some bits of scrap paper, now I just need to finish the job!
I took 2 more payslips to the letting agent this morning for them to photocopy and put on file and the guy in there said to come back again on Tuesday to do the paperwork
Now begins the frightful task of trying to use up as many of my opened cosmetics as I can before we properly move into the flat, which won't be Friday but whenever the removal company are available to move our big stuff :eek:0 -

9-13 cardigans

all to charity shop 9 but I bought a belt and a scarf - opps - but having lost 5 stone I did need a belt and the scarf had owls on 0 not really an excuse is it

Not posted for a while but I have been doing a lot of decluttering. Several hundred postcards, and dozens of assorted toys, books, cds etc. charity shopped or binned. Still can't tell the difference in the house though!Declutter 2025 in 2025 0/20250

Chocolatedrinker I hate it when you look around the house and can't tell the difference.Happens to me all the time, especially when I start a new room or section of a room
.We will get there,though.
I took a couple of loads to charity shops today.Always feels good to get stuff actually out of the house.
To the charity shop for sick children,I donated chidren's clothes and toys:
1415:1 coat
1416-1417:2 pairs ballet sox
1418:leotard
1419-1420:2 pairs of gloves
1421-1422:another 2 pairs of sox
1423-1425:notebooks
1426:Top Model book (Wedding).Never used
1427:Painting by Numbers kit
1428:Smurf belt
1429-1430:sand-stuffed toy/ornaments
1431:bouncy ball
1432:headband
1433:large tin ball
1434:Polly Pocket doll
To Salvation Army,donated:
1435-1449:15 copies of National Geographic.I am so pleased to be rid of these without throwing them out/recycling/binning.For my birthday about 10 years ago,my partner bought me a 12-month subscription, which was lovely. But now it is years since I have read them, and they make me feel guilty, being such a beautiful magazine, with nobody looking after them.Pleased to have found a place who accepts them, and they will be bought by someone who will enjoy them
1450:felt animal sewing book
1451:star-gazing book
1452-1554:3 belts
1556:souvenir keyring (surfboard)
1557:cheapy pedometer,in packet,never opened
1558-1560:silky dressing gowns
1561-1564:4 ladies tops/shirts,2 with tags on
1565:cardigan with tags on
Then I went to the Shelter charity shop (almost next door),and donated things for the "homeless packs" that they make up for people:
1566-1568packets of toothbrushes and
1569:nail-clippers,still in a sealed packet
1570:duck-shaped soap
-all these items discovered while I was decluttering bathroom cupboard the other day.
-both items from decluttering bathroom cupboard the other day)
Forgot to mantion that yesterday I tidied the 3 drawers in my display cabinet in front room. They still hold a bit too much stuff in them, but I was able to empty out one of the drawers so I can start using it to store things that I use,but don't need sitting around on display-Slimming World mamber's book (only needed once a week),diary, work diary, notepaper and pens, etc.
It was while clearing out this that I found the pedometer.
Also from this drawer,I binned:
1571: a very old computer mouse.
I also found a new-never opened computer mouse, which I offered to 15yo.She was very happy to recieve it,and I am happier seeing it used than cluttering up the house, unlovedSPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76
