Just had an email from OnePoll saying there is a delay in paying out until next week....do get a £5 boost to my account as an apology but I am nervous about them paying out now....
I don't think there will be a problem paying out. think it's more they were waiting on payment so increased their cash flow.0 -

We often have porridge here too especially in the winter but I use the standard oats and make it from scratch on the hob when we want it. I use half milk, half water and maybe add a tiny bit of brown sugar when I eat it. OH sometimes likes Maple Syrup on his porridge but I don't always have any in the cupboard as it's quite expensive and he can take it or leave it really. He's happy to make do with the brown sugar. It doesn't take long to cook porridge from scratch, about 10 minutes at the most from packet to bowl.
Sometimes we have scrambled eggs or beans on toast, you can't get much quicker than either of them. Filling and cheap too:jEvening folks
Wow - so many new peoples and it's lovely to see you allChallengers list updated to here - see post 3.
Well done all those starting off the mark already
Definitely porridge. I add a little ground ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg together with a teaspoon each of syrup and single cream when cooked. It hits the spot and keeps you going for h-o-u-r-s :rotfl:
You can add the milk and oats together in the evening and store in the fridge. Then put in a dish and micro in the morning - just have to stir half-way through. Then add whatever you fancy when cooked. BTW I use the instant packet porridge - 9p a sachet in Al*i
Hope you all have a super Tuesday
Lx
thankyou both. Porridge sounds great I want to make changes to my diet so will give this a go.
for now I have hard boiled 2 eggs for tomorrow. can't decide to have for breakfast or take for lunch.
I got new car eventually today. it's so different even nicer than DHs . I need to shop around though for cheaper car insurance. I got cover from today on old insurance to make sure I can drive it etc but need to find cheaper policy cover.
although the dealer I bought from has a thING with AA. for every car he sells the customer gets free AA breakdown cover for 12 months! ! :j saved myself at least £39.
not had a chance for much money making today as last day of holiday for DS so while trying to sort new car, had to take him out as well.
will knuckle down once he is in bed to some moneymaking.0 -
Slow start to the month with £5 from prolific - thanks to anyone who's used my referral link elsewhere on the forum. I think I've only done one or two surveys in the past six months.
I'll get a bit of a bonus for working bank holidays during the Christmas period but won't count the money until I get my paycheck at the end of the month.
I need to start listing some things on ebay but even the thought of taking pictures is boring me at the moment. I vow to have 12 up by Friday as per Aesop's challenge. Anyone know a good way to get rid of VHS tapes? Are they recyclable? I doubt anyone wants to buy them. Postage alone is more than they're worth.Money made on etsy in April: £0

£13.80 came in today from OpinionBar and Receipt Hog, so I'm up and running. Both rollovers from last month, but I'm not complainingThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
