  • Hope you feel better soon! I see you've joined Instagc...do give me a shout if you need any help...but definitely look at the blogs on the swagbucks etc page as Hannah has done a really good guide to it.

Thanks Betterthan, I'm not sure I'll stick at it as it seems to give less than Swagbucks and I want to concentrate on that, but we'll see.

Another £5 Amazon voucher on its way from swagbucks ;)

So the early start didn't happen here after all, I managed a bit of a li-in (7.30) and am still mooching about upstairs. I have managed to print off the various vouchers etc that I need for gifts, now to get downstairs and tackle today's list. Happy Christmas Eve all :D:D

And the list has gone right out the window .... three hours in A&E :(

Mum has had a headache/ migraine for 4 days, and today she announced that her vision is blurry / blotchy, and at times she can't see anything at all for up to half an hour  This was exactly how she was before her stroke 4 years ago, so a quick call to 111 where we were told to go straight to A&E. Anyway, they've checked various things and they think it's a problem with her eyes rather than another imminent stroke and have sent her home. We're not convinced but hoping to be proved wrong :o:o

So, a quick stop at the shop on the way back, another jelly bought along with a bottle of Baileys as I need it now :o Jelly, raspberries and sponges are in the trifle and setting in the fridge, now to start thinking about those mince pies and sausage rolls ;)

Happy Boxing Day everyone, hope you all had a lovely day yesterday :)

Our day went well, Mum was good considering she wasn't feeling great. Ds is off to his Dads in about half an hour, I have whizzed around this morning and got everywhere tidy, dishwasher on and all the rubbish out and hoovered through. At least now I can relax and chill for the remainder of the day.

I am going round to my sisters a bit later, there's also footie on the telly later to be enjoyed :D Other than that there is lots of yummy leftovers, far too much in fact, quite a bit of alcohol left and plenty of time to chill ;)

Morning all, well so much for looking forward to an early night and a lie-in; I've been up half the night coughing and sneezing and this morning I am basically just a snot machine :(

I got up and got dressed and nipped to sainsburys and picked up some cold remedy tablets, tissues, bread and milk. I also nabbed 10 rolls of reduced wrapping paper - 4 for Christmas with reindeers on, 3 x silver holographic rolls and 3 x white with navy small stars on. The reindeers will cover next Christmas, the rest is suitable for birthdays. Each roll was 4m and reduced to 50p, so £5 for the lot which should sort me out for the year ahead :T

I was planning on going out and doing some job spotting this morning before ds gets back but its cold out there and I'm shivery, so I'm camping out on the sofa with a cup of tea and the tissues and will continue planning for the year ahead today :D

Morning all, I've almost reached today's swagbucks goal, the offer on Amazon vouchers has now run out so I can't yet claim my next voucher.

Today ds is having his haircut this morning then we're off go karting this afternoon, which was a present from my brother for Christmas.
My cold is quite a bit better today, a good nights sleep definitely helped :)
