So last night I text a friend from work and we ended up chatting until 3 this morning and now I'm knackered :o:o

Never mind, this morning I went food shopping (£45 and £15 from xmas budget), which should do me until we break up on friday. I have started putting up some of the xmas bits and pieces, still havn't tackled the tree yet, I've been letting the branches sort themselves out first.

Dinner is in the oven (roast lamb), ds is home, and I'm about to go and have my bath. I still have minimal energy levels but an early night might help that.

No other spends today, I have cashed in another £5 Amazon voucher from swagbucks though.

So, tomorrow we break up for the Christmas holidays and I should be feeling all excited but instead I feel sad. Today at work we had a call to say one of our colleagues had a heart attack this morning and died :( Shocking news, totally unexpected and it has understandably put a real downer on the end of term excitement :o

Tomorrow I need to get through until lunchtime and then it's two weeks of lie-ins for me :)

  • So sorry to hear the sad news.

    Enjoy your lie-ins. xx

Thanks all, well we made it through the few hours at work today and now it's time to head out for a drink ... or several ;):D:D

Ds is staying at Mums tonight, I'm going out with workmates and one is crashing over here after. Tomorrow I need to take ds to the station in the morning before family lunch :) Happy holidays!!

Morning all, I had a great night out with friends last night, really enjoyed it and only cost me £10 overall (my manager had given me £20 towards it, so only needed to spend £10 on taxi home afterwards).

£10 paypal cashout from a survey site this morning, added to signature. Ds hasn't gone to his Dads today, he decided he didn't really feel up to it and was tired so is having a pj day here instead :)
