This morning I have been shopping, presents and food, still a few bits to get but the end is now in sight ;):)

This afternoon I am planning ... plans for Christmas and what I still need to get, particularly foodwise, plans for 2018 and financial plans :D I am thinking of moving back to the debt free diaries board, as ultimately I am working on paying my brother back and that is a debt, it's not part of my mortgage, although in some ways it could be seen as an addition to ... let me know your thoughts, I will add a link here if I do switch :D

  • The debt free diary board seems to be more active, than here, but I have to say that I would treat it all "as one" and stick with this. That said, you weren't really in extra debt before when you had your diary over there, were you, so simply do whatever you feel most comfortable with......that's what will get you where you want to be soonest!

I've still got a 0% cc.....so technically I'm not DF but I simply don't see myself being in the same position as I was *then* so will be staying on the MF board for the foreseeable.

Enjoy your holidays from work, sorry to hear about your work colleague this time of year you do seem to hear sad news unfortunately. A pyjama day is a luxury for me but one I am planning to do in the near future.

Already had a few thoughts for xmas next year regarding savings and buying stuff for it. Amazed at how much I had bought over this year towards xmas this year, so encouraged for next year.xx

Thanks Amber, I've already planted the seed about cutting back on presents next year - I would prefer to have a lovely family meal out rather than all buy each other stuff we don't need. We would still buy for the kids but cut out the adults. We'll see how that one goes ;)

The last few days have been spent with all sorts of things whirring around my head. More of that to come later ...

For now I need to make a list of things that need doing, some before Christmas, some before we go back to school. Today I need to crack on and get a few bits crossed off the list. I seem to have lost any xmas oomph that I had so I need to try and recover that. Hopefully getting on with some bits and then a Christmas film later on might help ;)

Supermarket done, it wasn't too bad, I only needed fruit and veg and a couple of bits and pieces, so in and out before it gets too mad :D £31 in total, £20 of vouchers, so £11 spent, then £7.50 on one last present, and as far as I know I am now done :j :j

I did have a restless night as my throat was tickly, I'm a bit coughy / sniffy this morning so will be having some honey and lemon to ward off any ills before they arrive :o

Ds should be back from his paper-round soon, he gets 4 days off now :j then today will be spent wrapping, delivering and watching football :D
