£3.35 withdrawn from quidco
We've been to ds train club this afternoon, it was pleasant, he loved it, and best of all it's going to cost £3.75 for unlimited monthly usage :money:
We popped into Tesco and spent £3 on dog food and mashed potato for dinner tonight, then I needed petrol, topped up £15.46 and ended up with 2 x £2 coins in my change. This was after I paid for ds haircut (£11) with a £20 note and got 2 x £2 coins in my change there too. So in total this week I have had 6 £2 coins - probably more than I've had in the last 6 monthsThey are off to the £2 pot, I am going to struggle to stick to the budget until payday but I'm determined to try my best!

So, the spending plan is getting hit again ... ds is off to his Nannas today, only his **?!* of a father 'didn't realise' he was getting his train ticket - he gets free tickets through work, but needs to order them at least the day before. Ds announced this morning that he hadn't sent him the code for it, so I text him and he said he didn't know he was meant to get one ... I pointed out I had text him 3 times asking him to do so ... anyway, after much to-ing and fro-ing he's agreed to pay halves, so that's £17 I need to cough up this morning for ds train fare  I could've said he wasn't going but that would be unfair on his Nanna.Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

So ds is on his train and I get 3.5 days of peace and quiet, it is sooo needed
I love him to bits but I am utterly exhausted with it all at the moment so am very glad of a break.
The train ticket was £17 in total, not £34, as he is a child, but he then wanted some money for a snack on the way, so more money disappearedI have a total of £6 left until payday on tuesday
This has been a real eye-opener as I feel like I've hardly spent anything this week - in fact it has gone mainly on train ticket (£17) petrol (£15), £2 coin pot (14), a few bits of food (£12), haircut for ds (£11), lunch/spends (£15). Hardly living the dream is it
£6 clearly won't last me until tuesday, well I probably could force it to but seeing as I have an unprecedented 3 day break I don't want to live like a complete hermit. I am seeing a friend today, we may go for lunch or may just potter around town for a bit. I will be careful and not go mad but wll buy something if I need to
My plans for the next few days are:- Relax
- Weed front garden
- Get up to date with housework
- Clear paperwork pile
- See my friend
- Take Mum to buy a lawnmower
- Have an uninterrupted footie day on saturday
- Lie-ins
- Eat meals from the freezer
I'm looking forward to being able to play my music (and not be drowned out by ds' music), to not being on edge 24/7 waiting for ds to kickoff about the smallest thingMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

My friend and I went shopping yesterday then out for dinner at the pub with her other half in the evening. It was a lovely chance to relax a bit
I spent £2 car park, £4 xmas decorations, £15 xmas presents (from xmas fund) and £25 on dinner. so in total I've overspent by £25 this month so far. I will try and be good for the rest of the month but realistically there will be a bit more to be spent.
Today I have a long to do list - just bits and pieces really but bits I want to get done. I woke up at 6.45, a bit later than usual but not as long a lie-in as I would have likedMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Don't beat yourself up over the spends - you're not exactly going mad, and it is difficult to stick to our self imposed budgets all the time.
Enjoy your few days to yourself!0 -
Nope you're right, I know I needed that dinner out last night, it was lovely to have a normal evening with friends and was worth every penny to me
I've joined Circle this morning using your code Betterthan, thank you, £5 added to my holiday fundI've also hit my Swagbucks target for today already too so I don't need to spend hours trying to find random videos to watch etc to reach my goal :rotfl:
