Morning all, I've had a couple of pretty tough days with ds /school again, but we've made it to the weekend and now I can chill and catch up a bit. The first load of washing is on the line, the second load is in the machine. The dishwasher is on.

I've been out and got some bits and pieces for my Christmas shoe-box (just need to find a box now), I also picked up a Boots gift guide and an item I ordered from Boots to go away for ds stocking.

Today will be mainly a recuperating kinda day, we break up for half-term next Friday so anything major can wait until then.

This weekends list includes just the usual really:
    • Clear washing pile
    • Ironing
    • Clean bathroom
    • Clean bedrooms
    • Hoover through
    • Clean downstairs loo
    • Sweep / mop floors
    • Make a Dorset apple cake
    • Clear surveys from inbox
    • Christmas planning
    • Some schoolwork
    • Clear paperwork from coffee table and action it
    • Water indoor plants

Alongside that lot I need to try and find some extra pennies :)

Thank you Beanie, it's been a good day today - I've got quite a few things crossed off the list, we lost 1-0 but I was expecting a hammering today (Spurs) so am fairly happy with the result. After that we took the dog to the beach and bumped into a friend I haven't seen for a while, so that was nice :) KFC for tea and now I'm enjoying Strictly, curled up on the sofa with a very sleepy dog :D

I'm currently chasing Nectar online as the extra £50 of points for the credit card offer haven't been added, I've waited the 6 weeks that it says they can take but still no sign of them. They are looking into it and will get back to me

I've had my bath and today ds wants to go out on the bus, something we haven't done for ages actually, and something he used to love doing, so we'll see what today brings :)

So we spent most of the day on the buses, followed by dinner at Mums. Not once today has ds been snappy or irritable, it's been the nicest day with him for as long as I can remember :):)

I'm not sure what made me do it, but I text his other Nanna (exs Mum) and told her everythings that's been going on with him. She had no idea at all, ex hadn't told her any of it (probably because he doesn't believe me ), she was shocked but very supportive. She isn't going to mention that she knows as it will cause arguments between them and probably me and him yet again, but I feel happier that she knows the truth of what's going on as ds is staying with her for a couple of nights in half-term.

I popped into Primark while waiting for a bus and spent £36, I got ds some thermal vest / long johns for the winter for his paper-round, and 2 pairs of brushed cotton pj trousers. A pair of trousers and some tights for me and a cuddly toy for my xmas shoebox.

Time now for Strictly then an early night, one more week then a week off :D

  • Really pleased you had such a good day - it will have done you both the world of good. Thanks for the info on Shopmium - I'm enjoying a cup of green tea with sweet mint which was one of this week's offers for £1! Hope you have a good week

It's been another of *those* weeks, but finally we've made it to half-term ;) I've managed to get an appointment with someone different at Camhs, we have an appointment in 10 days, and they have agreed to discuss medicating ds finally :T I'm under no illusions that that isn't a solution, it is something to at least consider :o

Tonight we're popping out to get ice-cream and then feet up and chilling ;)
