I've got 4 bits listed on ebay, it's actually much quicker than the last time I used it, might see if there's anything else worth listing :)

Whoop whoop, sold a bin dvd for £2.50 profit after postage ;) Not a huge amount but it's one less thing to pack and take with me and a few more pennies in the pot :) Think I might be getting the ebay bug back :D

Ironing is done and put away, I found another couple of bits and they have been listed too. I need to organise all the paperwork related to the house move, currently I have a huge pile and I need to get it a in date order and file it.

I think I might have found £50 that wasn't added in to y end of month banking figures, so I need to go back and check that. I also popped to the shop when I walked the dog and bought a chicken and potatoes for dinner as i somehow forgot them from the shopping order this week :o

Banking has all been checked and I knew it didn't seem right, I'd forgotten to add in a column :o Anyway, a bit of jigging around and basically I have £10 left to last me to payday (Tuesday). This shouldn't be a problem as I shouldn't need to spend anything other than ebay postage which is already accounted for, so hopefully I can move the tenner into savings on tuesday as long as tomorrow is a nsd ;)

We've both had baths and now I'm chilling til bedtime. Ds got one piece of homework done but will have to do another one tomorrow night. His choice ;)

A straight forward day at work today, nothing exciting but another day ticked off :) I've just cashed out £5 on a survey site so will add that to the savings pot, I posted the dvd that sold yesterday and I have a bid on another item so hopefully that might attract some more interest this week too :)

So tonight has been spent setting up a new laptop - my last one has been slowly dying for a while, it had got to the point where it was taking 30 minutes to start up, I had deleted all sorts, cleaned it, reset it, done all sorts and it was driving me totally up the wall and was not improving at all. In the end I decided to cut my losses and get a new one. I got it for £300 which is money I probably shouldn't have been spending right now but for me is worth every penny.

It's also nice to be able to type again without it seeming like I'm illiterate because all the keys become stuck :o

So spends today = £300 on a new laptop and £3.50 on a headtorch for ds as he's going on a nighthike with Scouts on friday.

I'm still trying to get everything set up on my new laptop, tonight I have finally managed to get the emails going :)

Today has been one of those days at work  I also emailed the solicitor to see what progress has been made this week and they are still waiting to hear back from my freeholder. This was the problem last time too becuase basically he's an arrogant !!!! who can't respond until it suits him, usually weeks after you've asked ... and then I got home to find a letter from court  Basically I had a car accident over 4 years ago, the insurance company wrote to me 3 years ago to say they had settled the claim and closed the file, and now it looks as though they have never paid it, so the guy is taking me to court  I have tried calling the insurers but they are closed until Monday, so a bit of a stressful weekend ahead for me :(

This weekend we don't really have much planned, just the usual housework / homework etc, although ds is fairly up to date with it at the moment. I'm desperately hoping for three points in the footie tomorrow too but I think it's unlikely

What a nuisance about the car insurance problem - why do these companies always send letters when they know that they'll arrive after they've closed for the weekend?
