    I have a request.
After the harassment I received online earlier in the year, I deleted a lot of my old accounts.
I was wondering if anyone could add me back into our Pinterest board Elfilicious and at the same time maybe introduce the newbies to it as they may have some new ideas to run past us. For the life of me I cannot remember who set it up but I will start going through our previous threads.
Also newbies we have links to our Pinterests and Instagram on the first page post #4

    UPDATE

Found it in Stop The Cavalry (gosh that takes me back) it was Pixtotts

Afternoon ladies, sorry, i missed the wrapping party (was looking forward to it too :( ) DH annoyed me and I stomped off and watched christmas films in bed and totally forgot about the party :( (He did take me out this morning to the little independent coffee shop and got me a yummy hot chocolate to make up though so we are all lovey dovey again :D ) I shall endeavour to join in the next one though!

Ahh I really want a train for round our tree! It has been something on my list for many years but I want a proper metal set not a cheap one so lots more searching and saving to go! Am actually thinking of going to London at the minute (we dont live that far away) wonder if I could find a really nice one in Hamleys

DH has been looking at a security camera thingy for my parents, somehow their £50 odd gift is coming in at £300 odd  BUT they have been burgled twice so I know it would be a very good investment for them and they wouldn't buy themselves one :(

Someone mentioned Ebay! I had something I needed to search for on there and can I remember what it was? darn it! what was it  . . . well thats going to bug me for the rest of the day! grr

Off to try and remember what the heck it was . .

EDIT: Thank you for the info about pintrest and instagram GIAYD, have followed all the pintrests and requested to follow the instagram people . . . if you get a random request from a jakesmum, its me :rotfl: (sorry to those of you who accept! I have noooo idea how instagram works lol I have one picture on there)

EDIT NUMBER 2: It was a fitbit! I was looking for a fitbit!

  • 19 wrapped is not as good as it sounds! I had offcuts from last years wrapping so only had to trim some to fit this years, it saved quite a bit of time measuring, cutting etc. All of the cakes are finally finished, had to make an extra one as I over baked one, so will, for the first time ever, have a cake for myself!
A smile costs little but creates much :)

GYD I love your mum lol. It's like a trip down me,Roy lane is t it when you scroll through the old threads. So many people have come and gone and then there are the rest of us who plod on year after year :D

MISSMOOSE unless somewhere like Asos have Pandora on sale you're unlikely to get discounted prices unless the official Pandora site has a sale going. I think official Pandora stockists are only allowed to discount during an official Pandora sale unless they've got something over from the sale. The Jewel Hut and John Greed are worth keeping an eye on but don't think you'll get a deal on the Disney charms unless Pandora.net are doing one. Good luck though.

Hope the poorlies are all feeling much better today.

If anyone has girls to buy for who are into unicorns, Asda have some really nice unicorn glasses for 75p. I've bought some and I'm going to put bags of chocolate coins in them and put in cellophane Christmas bags as extra pressies. They had some really nice Christmas mugs too but I've got so many mugs already I had to put them back.
It's the most wonderful timeof the year :

Evening, I am shattered today, especially with the clocks changing. I was baby sitting my 10month old Neice and 4 yr old nephew as long as my own 3. The baby was the easiest to look after! Lol. She is a wee sweetie, so laid back and happy. But she still got up at 5am (her 6am) plus I slept with one ear open as it was the first time I had her and I kept imagining allsorts happening to her, I was so worried that she was on her tummy and her face right in the corner. Was nice having those early morning baby snuggles again. My youngest is 6, I do miss it, but it was nice to hand her over once my sister came.

Stokiebecks- thank you again for the coffee and the card. I loved having my first cup. X

Free- I also love those ice cold Baileys latte cans. I usully buy a big bottle of Baileys for December. But these cans are nice for the added coffee flavour. I love the mocha frappes from Macdonalds. My odd treat to myself in the summer months.

I woild have liked to have joined in with the wrapping party last night. But I couldn't with having the extra kids here. I have plenty to wrap, so will aim for the next one to get most wrapped.

GYD,I had no idea about grim goings on earlier this year.I hope it is resolved now.I HATE bullying,I cannot stand it.

I forgot to say earlier,Murie, lets do it! I am in.We can lose a bit of weight from now until Christmas.Although I am going out for lunch tomorrow with people I used to work with who have retired from school.I will be sensible as I will be wearing my size bigger trousers to shame me.

DD1 came, ate and went! I will try to upload photos tomorrow.

  • Peppa I was having a real giggle at the past threads. We must of been on the Sherry sometimes because our threads were quite naughty!
Vulpix and Murie, I’m afraid nowadays it’s stones I need to lose not pounds. We will all get there.
And yes, most of the drama is over now and the lovely forum workers changed my name but let me keep all my old details x
