    Hello everyone.

Very little to report. Finally have a cardiology appointment date next month. Post came today with the first Jobcentre appointment I've had in several months (typical they'd wait until I'm already stressed about going through the re-assessment!). And of course the damn thing is the same day/time as my cardiology appointment. So now I have to ring and rearrange it. Not fun when you have phone phobia and hate the Jobcentre. :rotfl:

Not much going on on (can you do double 'on's?) the Christmas front. I have ordered some rhinestones from China though. Going to stick them to some ribbon I've got and make bracelets. Assuming I remember to order the other stuff I need to make them. ;)

Hope everyone is keeping well. The months are rolling by now!

    Afternoon all,
Had a day of preparation for a church weekend away. Done some washing and some cooking. Hoping to do some batch cooking at some point. The summer holidays seem to be rolling away from me and I need to make some memories with the kids.
Although they are both made up with their bedrooms. I am still searching the sales, nothing standing out at the moment.
Need to keep on with my de cluttering as it is very freeing. Knowing where everything is, no cluttered piles of things I will never use. Making me think twice about christmas gifts.
Does anybody have now tv? thinking about buying it for the kids bedrooms, maybe even ours too.

Vulpix- Canadian christmas throw sounds amazing! Well hopefully other people will agree with the craft group being restarted.
Clumsy 42- good news about the cardiology appt coming through. oh no- to jobcentre appt being on the same day. Always the way isnt it? Hope you manage to get it sorted.

    Morning all

No Christmas prep done here at the minute. Need to sit and make my final list with ideas for people and get the Christmas card list done as well so I have one less stress by Christmas. I did go back on the Magical Holiday Home site this morning though so will mooch around the forums there for ideas.

Had a lovely bill from Council Tax yesterday though - apparently they undercharged us a few years back so are now demanding we pay £180 that we underpayed. Needless to say after a few sturn words I am now on a payment plan to get it gone and paying an extra £30 a month on my council tax. Most unamused.

Free - She is a Jack Russell x Chihuahua.

She will actually be ready on the 19th September but I'm worried about picking her up then in case I have to leave her to go to work and shes left by herself with the other two dogs so think I might pick her up on the weekend and then she has time with all of us and then hubby and me have a week off together.

046 - Id be up for joining a crafting group - I have a few projects that are a few years old now and need finishing.

Clumsy - hope you managed to sort your appointments out without too much stress

Vulpix - you could always get one that doesnt moult? My nanna has a Cavapoo - shes half Cavalier and half poodle so she doesnt moult and is allergy friendly ;)

    Treasure - happy birthday!

Right off to sort the house today - since I have a couple of days off now :T:T:T:T:T and might go blackberry picking again later :rotfl:
    Time to find me again

    Hi all,

Cuteness of the puppy.Lovely times ahead.I would like a little dog Mr V is very allergic to animal hair so we can't.

    Laters Vx

I am horrendously allergic to both cats and dogs, cats make my eyes swell protruding out of their sockets and dogs I end up top to toe in a rash but fine with our Ted being a Labradoodle as they are fine with allergies (obviously there will always be an exception to the rule). The only problem I do get is when other dog owners stop to talk and I get a look because I say I cannot pet their beloved pet because I'm allergic.

DD2 had the nerves severed in her back at he beginning of the year and has been pain free for the first time since she was 8 she is now 26, but they must have reattached because she is in agony again :(

VULPIX haha am still giggling at you doing the splits :rotfl: I am sure you have put a lot of value on your house with all your hard work. I am intrigued by the Canadian Christmas throw

CLUMSY I too have a phone phobia it takes me weeks to make some phone calls, sods law they are both at the same time

SAMMYKAYE aww she will be a tinky doggie then :D I too would be steaming if the council did that to me its very unfair. What is Magical Holiday Home?

:(:rudolf:Hi, dear me I get worse! I have just asked for a free ercol dressing table on fb for my daughter whilst talking to my son.He said he would put up nude pictures in his bedroom here and i told him to eff off.But I didnt, I told the dressingtable woman. She said she didnt see it as i deleted it imediately.I am a liability.

Aww a ickle jauahua? She will be gorgeous.

GYD Mr V has an extreme reaction, like you.He has never had a
pet in his life and has no desire to have one, sadly. My friend has a labradoodle, she is just the nicest dog,but massive and definitely has the lab genes she eats anything, even bird food in my garden,

Sammy K I would LOVE a cavapoo. They are like beautiful little teddies.I have told Mr V that when he dies, the funeral will have to be in the afternoon because I will be picking up my kitten and puppy in the morning.I will be at the service with one under each arm.

Free,I didnt know that your daughter had her nerves cut.I didn't know that could be done.I used to say that about my back, why cant they just cut the nerves and then i wouldnt feel anything. At least she knows she can be helped,I hope she is knocking on doors to find a permanent solution. It is so depressing to have permanent severe pain.

The Canadian Christmas throw is nothing special, just Christmas material that I bought in Canada last year.It has turned out nice though.

  • Vulpix I don't know about the bird poo but Ted has been known to bring in seagulls on more that one occasion, smaller birds are thankfully too small and quick but seagulls are a doddle for her, she doesn't mark or harm them, just wants to show me what she's caught. Guessing thats the Labrador Retriever in her, but where she gets the stupidity I've no idea

    Hi all,

Hoping to get a bit more involved this year than I was able to before. Work is still so crazily busy but I need to force myself to take a break and enjoy my personal time. Amd what better way than to plan Christmas!

No idea where we're going to be spending it this year. We were hoping to have bought a house before the season rolls around but I just can't see that happening now with us not liking anything we've seen yet. Does anyone else house hunt and view homes thinking things like, 'ooh, that conifer would look great with Christmas lights in!'. Lol, maybe it's just me!

Anyway, I'm currently trying to pull gift ideas together. Main thing at the moment is I'm trying to compile our family tree which I'd like to complete and give to my parents in a really nice folder with all the documents and certificates etc. Need to hurry up with that as think it's going to take longer than I think!

Look forward to hearing about all of your preparations!
