    Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
    I bought 3 X 3kg poly bags of Ariel Colour and Style for £14.97 in a local independent Chemist saving me £25.98 :T

    2 Hopper bus journeys to and from the Cinema worth £3

    Odeon Silver Screen ticket £3 saving me £5.40 for the usual ticket price for an adult ticket for a film showing before 5pm

    Poundland Bargains:

    Butterkist popcorn 50p saving me 50p

    75g Maltesers 50p saving me 50p

    84g Galaxy Minstrels 50p saving me 50p

    8 children's books £8 saving me £26.92:T

    This week I saved £34.62 on my Tesco online grocery shop :T

    #13 current total £864.48

    feeling quite productive on the wombling front today (although not a huge monetary value!)

    £1.99 for a latte using beans, not one of which I purchased a coffee to get :)

    £3.69 for a breakfast as did a ms assignment

    picked up 22 sachets of sweetner while there :) (going to claim 1p per sachet) 22p

    53p saved on a bit of ys cheese

    £6.43 for today :)

    wombled various receipts for points - one of which was for 43! Had as many as I could added to my card. I now have 350 point there and this is just from wombled receipts/150 additional points from when I got a couple of bits and I've only been doing this since Jan!

    On that note I got a tip off from MrsSave tonight that if you download the Tesc0 app and use it to pay for your shopping, you get 50 extra points the first 10 times you use it. I don't know anymore than that is whether you cant do it in store etc so worth checking into.

    It is actually the PayQwiq app not the Tesco app and all the details have been in the MSE Money Tips weekly newsletter for the last 3 weeks or longer.

    2 pastries from my boss during our Department coffee break. I have such a lovely boss! She insists that to work as a team, we need to chat regularly, so fortnightly we have a 30 minute meeting, and are to talk about anything but work :) She always brings pastries; we celebrate birthdays during that meeting, too. €1

    YS items in Lidl - 2 packets of cod fillets, 1 rump steak.1 packet of diced pork and a free range chicken. Saving £5.84 plus 3 x 1p roadkill.

    Total now £132.85

    Oh right. I never read the newsletter! No one here has mentioned it, anyone using it? I don't shop online so am guessing it's no use to me...but it seems a generous offer.
