What are you doing right NOW to prepare for Christmas?

Nothing, having a glass of wine, Turkey nearly defrosted and in fridge. Will do everything tomorrow, it's just like a Sunday dinner well nearly just tell myself that. Just need to remember to take the prawns out as everyone likes prawn cocktail 19 yeah whatever ha, ha.

just prepped veg. Got bits out of freezer. Made a trifle- homemade one!!! going to lay the table in a min so don't have to do much tomorrow.


Pork is in oven and beef going in slow cooker later on.


Bubbly is in fridge and I have drunk half a bottle of clementine Irish cream.


Cannot wait!!!!

Chella, well done on homemade triffle my granny used to make one every year. I've done it and ahem bought from the shop. My DD was delighted to tell me the other day, she told her friend how I made my own trifle along with other things, but mum I know you buy it now, never denied it.

Trying to resist the urge to strip the Christmas tree hubby decorated while I was in the kitchen and 're do it !! Drinking a glass of wine, and wondering where certain things have been tidied away to (including Christmas cards) hubby tidied while I was at work and can't remember where he put them!! need to Tetris the fridge now stuff has cooled!

Opened the chocolates, oh boy the chocolate covered fudge is divine

I reckon a second glass of white is order to celebrate breaking my sweetie celibacy haha I've been dieting for most of 2016 and not had any chocs/sweets for most of the year.

Gosh, I was last to post here and now I'm up. I always seem to sleep poorly on big occasions. Not helped by wine or anxiety about the day ahead.

I'm doing Scotch pancakes on my granny's girdle. There's homemade black current jam and fresh butter for them with cafeteria coffee and grapefruit juice when the family waken.

It's going to be a busy day ahead, but it will be fun X
