I'm disappointed that the No7 isn't included as that was one of the two things I wanted. Boo hiss!!!!


The store I'm going to had 41 Soap & Glory star gifts when I did a reccy on Tuesday. I'll go back again tonight to check. I only want 3 so hopefully I'll be lucky.

I'm all happy not to bother with boots ,,,, then I break out in a sweat ,, and can picture my kids (well adult men !) on xmas day with no big Jack wills , FCUK , Ted B and other designers brands all mixed in with a bit of Lynx and think I can't let them down!
I know other shops do Lynx , but where would I buy things like the so called designer brands?
I understand the ones boots sell are under lience to them , and exclusive , so anyone know of other brands available else where?

I myself am not going to the 70% sale as there is nothing in my local store that I want, and I can't do with the crowds :eek:. I have picked up a few bits and pieces in the 50% sale though .

I agree that the staff aren't treated very fairly if they aren't given as much notice as Martin Lewis' MSE was given. However I have worked in places before (not Boots) where the manager WAS given notice but forgot to tell the staff on the shop floor. So we don't know how far up the line the info has reached. Not good though if none of the shop staff have been told.

If anyone is going to the Boots sale it might be worth also checking out the clearance section in store. This morning I picked up a Sanctuary Colour Me In Candle, reduced from £10 to £2, and a Travel Organiser (for passport/tickets etc) reduced from £9.99 to £2.50. :j

Just tried logging in on website to see what offers I have and it's still saying they are having a technical glitch and to try later. I've been seeing that for 24 hours :mad:


The app just keeps closing itself down when I try and do it that way....

They definitely did some sort of update to it yesterday (the fonts have changed) and I was getting the same error message. It worked for me (laptop) about an hour ago, so hopefully you'll get there in the end.

All staff have access to their internet internet system while at work with management and some others having access also whilst away from site. The full details have been on there since yesterday morning apparently. There was a later update adding that the No7 set wasn't included.

Yes the managers should have passed word down but staff have the capability of finding out the same way too.
