Apparently they have got their stock levels at a better level this year so the sale will not be as big as usual. Speaking to my local store yesterday they said they had nothing left in the warehouse upstairs whereas last year they had 12 pallets of stock waiting to go on the shelves. Only things they had were some Fragrance gift sets.

Interesting to hear actually because this year, whenever I visited a Boots store, I felt they didn't sell as fast as previous years. For instance, my local shop had a lot of star gift in stock still (apart from the yankee candle set) even after a week while in the past I remember most of them were sold out within a day or two. Similarly, all S&G sets were fully stocked. My local shop isn't the biggest but in a major shopping town but when I visited Manchester, it felt the same.

It is perhaps better though as I really can't afford to be naughty :P Thanks for posting!

I got Clarins double serum set for a good price (Serum usually is £70 i think and the set was £46 and includes : Clarins Double Serum 50ml

I was very happy with Yankee Candle Sets.
£5.49 for 6 candles when the base price is £1.80 each, you can usually get the seasonal sets of 5 for £6-7.

Basildon store had loads of stock today. I got a no 7 set (for £10) as I use the day and night creams, and an oral B electric toothbrush for £17.50

A couple of my locals don't seem to have as much on the shelves as previous years but unsure how much they have in the warehouse. I'm sure they'll usually get some more shipped in from smaller stores though.
Plenty of some of the star gifts still left can't see them shifting those at same price as before Christmas; were lots in the end of sale clearance last year - I think some of the Star Gifts have had their day!
