That would be unusual as the 17th falls on a Tuesday and every other year the sale has been on a Wednesday.

I have a friend who works in Boots in my town and though I haven't seen her so far this year, she has in the past said the same thing the shop floor staff aren't told until the last minute.

I asked in one of my local Boots (we have four where I live) and was told it was usually a Weds but they don't know until the evening before.

I will be going straight there this Weds after dropping my kids off at school just in case

My game plan (it's a well used plan lol) is I have the sale page bookmarked on my phone, along with this thread. That way, I can check it first thing (midnight lol)so I know if it's a go or not. Saves rushing about in the morning if it doesn't happen when we expect it.

yep, thats how I check for the sale date too - I set my alarm for early morning Weds, check the Boots sale page online, if its changed to 70% off I know instore will also be 70% off as soon as the store opens that day.

I've gone off the 11th for a few reasons. But I'll let you know Tuesday if it is going to be Wednesday as the staff normally find out Day before so they can get ready for it.
