But the only way the parking co can get your details for the NTK is by applying POFA. So they must comply with POFA ,or am I missing something ?

You are missing something. Getting DVLA data has nothing at all to do with POFA compliance or not. Operators have to comply with their ATA CoP but it is not mandatory to even give a passing glance at the POFA.

They can get keeper details on the reasonable cause of using the data to then enquire of that keeper, in a non-POFA case, who was driving.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

for cases relating to the issue of parking notices

not using v888/2 as a private company

this must be done using v888/3

trev tried this and the DVLA snipped him dammed quickly once told
  • RICH2316, what did you send to BPA? I am in a very similar position, have written and got a reply from DVLA, nothing back TNC, They still hounding me with letters and a couple of phone calls per week. If you could let me know what you sent BPA that would be great.

    Thanks

you may find that TNC/Autisec will not go to court , latest email to me is stating that the DVLA have ACCEPTED that TNC PARKING have asked for details illigally using V888/2 , bith the DVLA and BPA are investigating this matter , however like other situations (MIL) expect an answer within the next 3 yrs

where ever possible on the recept of a TNC NTK do a POPLa appeal , to keep the paperwork flowing

I expect 2 names to be moving to the IPC shortly

The plot thickens with these idiots. TNC have now acquired my mobile number and are calling for an outstanding payment from their client for a PCN for £179 that was cancelled 2 months ago.
They want ME to prove it has been asking me to mail a copy of cancellation.
Where they have got my number from I don't know.

Just block their number, after telling them you're going to issue a harassment claim against them. ;)
