  • Well today I sent off to the DVLA for the details of who asked for the keeper details and when.
The letter of TCN is asking me to contact Autosec within 28 days to appeal the charges and to get a popla code. Do I do this or wait.

Do that now too, send the appeal as shown in the NEWBIES thread, that's why it is there.

As pappa golf said, also contact the ICO to see if the company on the PCN were registered as a data controller and when.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

send the same letter to the DVLA and find out when your details were accessed and by whom

this info may be needed both in court and when you make multiple complaints and fill in your "I want £750 please" for breaking the DPA ,

don,t bother with autosec untill you have your ammo .

autosec (as a company ) were not registered with the ICO in 2014 ,

Ok a little update. Today I received a letter from the DVLA telling me it was TNC that requested my data on 20.10.16 for one parking charge dated 9.1.15. One application was made on form V888/2. I have received 4 alleged parking charges so shouldn't they have made 4 applications? This form is different from form V888/3.
Today I have also received another 4 letters off TNC saying action required today as I have ignored their client and it will refer it to the matter of litigation. They have also added on a 79 pound admin charge on each ticket asking me to pay all the amounts.
I wrote to Autosec asking for a popla code as the NTK from TCN stated but have heard nothing from the PPC unsurprisingly. I sent 3 appeal letters one to the PO box number TCN asked me to by recorded delivery and this has been signed for. I also sent another to mail drop address in Beverley which was also signed for by the same person. I also sent one to his companies house address in Bradford which has also been signed for. Where do I go from here because sounds like they are playing silly !!!!!!s now.

Separate requests to the DVLA for VRN data are required for each and every alleged event. The scammers cannot use the data from one request for any other PCN as it is quite possible the vehicle could have changed hands and been sold after the first alleged event.

Assuming you used pg's letter to the DVLA, you asked who, when, and how many times your data was requested. If this was only once then you should complain again to the BPA and DVLA about this.

Did you include the 2014 dates in your DVLA request? If not you need to do so.
