Cheap boots on tarmac! These ones are Regatta for £40 from GO. To be fair, these ones will push the 300 mark before I retire them.
My Salomon walking shoes lasted for around 700 miles before the tread wore out completely. Trying to find that middle ground of cost vs ware life!
My alt-bergs on the other hand have put out with around 100 miles and barely showing any sort of ware, but these are reserved for walking the hills!0 -
A couple of weeks fitbit reports to add for me adding up to 67.87miles.
That takes me to 937.36 miles. That gives me 9 days to get 62.64 miles. I think I might fail especially if this weather keeps up. I really dont cope well with the heat but storm forcast so things might cool down a bit.
At least if Im not at 1000 target, I wont be that far off and can hopefully make it up.
Well done to all of you tyhat have reached target and especially to those that are well over target!Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600 -
Average was almost 11 miles a day this week taking my total to almost 1500, looks like June is going to be another bumper month for me0

46.5 miles done for me this week. Largely down to running a marathon yesterday!
Total for 2017 is 991.0 miles.
More to the point it has brought my elevation gain for the year to 80,226 feet. My initial target for the year was 100,000 feet.“Time is intended to be spent, not saved” - Alfred Wainwright0 -
Reporting in at the end of the 25th week 25 June 2017:

Been in the UK for the last 10 days. However, normal life is getting in the way....In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0 -
34.81 miles to add for my last fitbit report in the first half of this challenge.
:j:j:j:j This takes me to 1004.3 miles not taking into consideration what I have done this week up to yesterday which will go on next weeks report.

995 miles, so 5 miles short for the 2000 and 13 miles short for 2017. I'm quite happy at that. If we hadn't had that bout of really hot weather, I'd have been slightly ahead.0
