Afternoon all
Spent another £7.35 on top up vegetables milk and bread and few YS xmas chocolate bars (snowballs) reduced to 16p have updated sig. DS1 off work for a week so menu plan bit skewed and milk and bread usage up!
Menu plan done up to Sunday - another one with no xmas leftovers as Sis hosted, will be different this year but have missed the usual turkey curry.....
Sausage and mash tonight with carrots and cabbage - DS1 has requested Y Puddings as well - have two eggs left - decisions decisions.

spent £27.51 in lidles yesterday, succumbed to some crisps as well as my weekly treat of cruspies, and dad wanted icecream lollies
I think I have £20ish left til the end of the month, i'll try to keep the amount minimal but I think I'll be over again this month.

A spend of £8.11p today on fruit and fresh lunch things for the kids. I also needed cheese.
I only have 2 days left now which likely be NSDs and have loads of my budget left. I'm really pleased with this and have been mainly eating out of stores£36/£240

Spent £16 in ALDI yesterday, on bread, cheeses, fn v, eggs etc, so still waay under target this month :j"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

Well!! So much for my £30 predicted spend....
I spent £54 quid at Aldi :eek:
This did include unplanned £20 including -
a load of dry cat food,
2 bottles of wine,
Ready made Curry and Rice (for DS to take back with him)
Olive oil
I also bought a big chicken when I only really needed a small one, but it'll all be usedNote to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

Popped to shops to get some veg/fruit - ended up getting a bit more than I had intended BUT I don't think we'll need to go back for rest of the month - might just need milk but that should be it. Fridge is rammed, freezer is rammed - should last a good while!!
Spent £57.85 but that included a pregnancy test (which are never bloody cheap!) I'm not pregnant which is a relief

ok so i now have £264 left for the month after getting some extra bits that seemed to mount up to way more than i was planning on tonight we had omelette chips and beans and little one had sausage paella tomorrow chicken fajitas are on the menu mild so little one can eat the same and bulked out with peppers and lettuce im finding it hard as im now watching what i get for my money where as before i didnt and just paid whatever it came to its the wake up call i needed as ive realised its not even half way through the month and ive spent uver half my budgetoct 2015 grocery challenge £183/£2360

£2.45 spent today for lemons, tin of chick pea and 2 tins of baked beans. Sig updated. Made hummus with the chickpeas and the lemon, the baked beans are for DH.Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0
