Hi All
My small things today.
1. Cleaned out the fridges at work and came back with around £5 of useful stuff.
2. Found £1 on my way to work. It's been a fantastic month for finding £1 coins, have my highest roadkill total in ages.
3. Home made sausage rolls and mince pies made
4. 1 hours cycling done
5. New First Direct account is now open, paperwork recieved today. £100 switcher bonus to come
6. Prepped my chippolatas for pigs in blankets whilst the oven was on.
7. Recieved £40 for the children from a friend's mum
8. Used up two jars in my culinary efforts
9. Tidied round. All jobs finished for the day.
10. Have spent time playing free games with DS (who is ridiculously over excited about tommorow) hang man, noughts and crosses. Using up old scrap paper.
Only black clould is DD is sick. High temp and very listless. But with all the germs we have been passing round our house I'm not surprised. Both the kids were up at 5am so matchsticks and calpol at the ready!

Evening all,
I have prepped as much as I can for tomorrow but the free butternut squash ended up in the bin, that's the first and last time I will ever attempt to peel one of those bad boys, why did nobody warn me??!
The pot of dinosaurs was collected and the pot turned out to be the size of a large far of pickled onions, inside an 18 inch square box, with tons of bubble wrap :rotfl:
I bought some lovely smoked ham from the deli counter and the lady reduced the end bit of a turkey joint to 5p for me for the cats which was sweet of her.
We're off out shortly for a pint and something to eat locally, have a lovely Christmas all if I don't get back on!:)

CLF - glad you are ok!
Bob - hope baby is ok and you get a peaceful night
FVD - I never bother to peel butternut squash, just wash it, scoop out the seeds, cut it up and roast it. If anyone doesn't like the skin, they don't have to eat it0 -
Take care CLF.Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0

They recommended that I got to A&E so I did but have been given a clean bill of health. Phew!
Glad your alright Carrie. Glad you went to be on the safe side." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

An abrupt start to the morning...3.30am: Outside training garden hoses on a fire at neighbour's property til the fire service arrived. Not the sort of festive lights you want to see! Would sooner be seeing paper chains than bucket chains.
Now awake wondering what to do with myself.

Morning all :xmastree:
I'm just popping on quickly to wish you all a very Merry Christmas :xmassign: It was a late night for me last night and a very early start this morning so I'm just heading back to bed for a little nap. Thankfully all seems to have gone well and everyone is happy with their presents (including me) so that's good news.
CLF - pleased that you're ok, but sorry that you have hurt yourself so much. It'll be a story on all of your Christmas photos.
Ally - what a rude awakening. I hope that everyone is ok and damage is minimal. Happy Decemberfest to you and DW
Dawn - I would love to come to your house for lunch pleaseNot giving up

Morning everyone and a merry Christmas to you all!
Still waiting for OH to surface... after two false starts he apparently needs more sleep. To be fair, he's only had ten hours so far
Starting the day with the radio and a black coffee. But may need to find some more sustenance now!
Have a lovely day everyone. Can't wait to hear about your presents!LBM 11/06/2010: DFD 30/04/2013Total repaid: £10,490.310
