Bit like my daughter's primary school, another one turned up in a new white BMW (they are spreading, they are all getting them) on Tuesday. They have a small toddler too. Had to laugh as they won't be best pleased when they are potty training and the poor little boy wees on their leather seats :rotfl:
There is less stress having a sensible car with little ones. Milk, nappy leaks, juice accidents when they are tiny. I always have footprint on my seats, finger marks on my windows and Disney music in the CD player.....and often the rattle of 2 fold down flicker scooters in the boot. :T But no stress of cleaning leather seats

They are like an epidemic !
These white luxury cars, just screams "I'm so rich, that peasenty things like mud and dirt don't bother me - my butler will clean it off"
Hehhehe, such a green eyed monster aren't I.

Seriously though, went to NCT yesterday.
The only couple without a new fancy car, pulled up in an AudiQ7 (white of course!).
They were so excited about it, and good on them.

For now, our little battered car will do.
Once we've paid off all the debt, perhaps we will use the money not going on payments to buy something a bit nicer...but no way would we finance !
I checked out of interest (and nosiness), a new Q7 is like £1000 per month in payments :rotfl:

I definitely hear you on the car front, we have recently bought a touring caravan and although I have never been interested in my car before now when we go away everyone has big shiny SUV's etc ....must admit I was tempted but it makes no sense whatsoever so my trusty old Ford Galaxy will most definitely have to do for the foreseeable future x

It doesn't make any sense, you are so right.
We have to remind ourselves sometimes though right ? Cos the shiny cars look so pretty.
As Dave Ramsey says "Everything with an engine in it depreciates!"
So what is the point in getting in debt for a liability

Unfortunately I am going to have to change my debt total from £3147.65 to £3672.27, the car repairs and vet bills got the better of us this month :( But I'm feeling positive now that these are out the way and ready to put my energy back into paying this total off!!

So, #134 debt total has changed to £1105.28/£3672.27
