  • Yes Glittery. I've had to step away from it a bit as I need to try to sort my overdrafts out. It makes no sense paying £100 off and paying £60 in bank charges.

Totally hear what you are saying. The months seem longer when I'm waiting to pay the next payment. Managing to cover expenses and the odd blip, so I know I'm not adding to my debt, just enjoy the buzz of paying:D

Have been super sensible and we are saving for our next 10% off our mortgage too, so I know we are doing the right thing. I don't get my 'fix' from paying, until I pay the bank.
I'm here reading other people's payments to celebrate their payments until I can get to mine :j

Paying off a mortgage that is the DREAM for me !
So I shall live vicariously through you for now :P

    That is so true!
Have you thought about switching to a basic bank account, one that doesn't let you go into any kind of authorised or unauthorised overdraft.
I had the same last year, was getting hit by charges every month.
