#006 checking in with £13089.71/£10000 please muppets :D
Let’s just pretend I have not been alternately drowning in debt or only eating toast to try and pay it off for the last 20 years 😭
  • So just been paid and made my first significant payments to becoming debt free:

Starting to feel like I am making headway, although still very stressed with how I am going to get rid of this debt hanging over me!

Anyway checking in with various payments to outstanding loans, credit cards and council tax arears - £809.46 paid

    #149 £1597.38/£19,310
  • Payday!!!

I've just paid £254 off the credit card so that's £870 left to pay and should be gone in 2 paydays! I could send more across this month and less the next 2 but money this month will go to savings as well.

    £1398/£2218 for #141:j

  • Morning all! And happy payday to those that get paid on the last working day of the month!
Well, as promised, I've chucked a whopping £906.41 at the Barclaycard today! :T
It rounds my total down to £2,000 left to pay off at 0% interest (well I hope so, the last statement had interest on it but I'm hoping that's from purchases - which have now been paid off - and not the balance transfer.)
Next step - deal with the odd £300-£500 amounts that I actually owe people, although we may well get them back in the form of baby gifts. :p
