Let's start to see the payday payments roll in! Woohoo!
Also, switching bank to First Direct so will hopefully gain some cash from their switching rewards in the next couple of months. And plans are afoot to move house and reduce our rent. Watch this space - me and the OH have already dubbed 2017 #TheBigYear
Lots of changes in the offing but all positive! :j
Take care all - speak soon!
L. xx
GUYS!!! I haven't spoken to you all since January - which is APPALLING!! However, a LOT has happened in the interim so I'm hoping you'll forgive me.
Despite my absence I have been debt-busting and my PCDL loan has now CLEARED!! :TMy credit card total has swayed a bit further than I'd like but I plan to throw a chunk of money at it come payday (and get in under the April radar too).
I did indeed move to First Direct as I stated in Jan and chucked the joining bonuses at the CC. And 2017 continues to be #TheBigYear for us as we move house (rented) mid-May to a place MUCH cheaper to rent, which should help with the debt-busting. But, more crucially, will be mould-free as we expect our first baba at the end of July!
It means the debt-busting and saving will become tougher to manage with a newborn mouth to feed/clothe/furnish/ensure stays alive but I'm hoping to keep checking in here to keep me on track, if I can.
For now, I hope April has treated everyone well (I haven't gone back and read the thread pages I missed so will have a catch-up soon), and here's to welcoming the Summer with more debt-smashing! Woohoo! :j
Muppets, new totals in sig. :heartsmil

Would anyone know this, but its a graduate bank account, once I've paid the OD, am I best keeping the bank account but having the OD taken off it? or will it not change my rating xx0 -
Payday Friday, so managed to sweep another £20 over to OD after writing that post. I'm now at 1267 Once at 1200, I'll book a bank appt so they reduce the OD again. x0
