MUST REFOCUS
House of Fraser have the matching sideboard to my dining suite on off with £400 off - really want it but need to get rid of this debt first so I have made myself a coffee and intend to sit here and read this forum until the urge to click 0% credit passes!! My bank loan of £635 has just gone out of the bank and if I ever want to get out of this hole I need to stop digging. Hope everyone has a lovely but frugal Easter weekend x
This made me refocus!!!! Thank you.
I have my eye on a new sofa which I love......And it has £300 off this weekend......Nearly weakened until I saw your post and it made me realise, what the hell was I thinking of
Just redone my bills spreadsheet to sort my head and finances out. Need to keep going. Paid a lovely £900 off my CC today, bringing my journey to debt free that bit closer. Christmas seems totally do-able.

I have been looking at the first page and everyone is doing so well, I think this challenge will be achievable for most people.....Unfortunately I can only do small payments towards it and xmas 2017 will not see me debt free, but I made a start and eventually it will happen, no idea when, dreading June when interest will add to it and the amount paid will look even smaller...0

The beauty about this challenge is, (despite the name of the challenge) even if you can't be debt free by xmas, you just set a target figure that you would like to have paid off. I was part of this challenge for 4 years before I took over, then last year, the year I took over, I became debt free. Now I am using the challenge to pay off my mortgage. There are a few members who have been here a few years and will still be here for a few more years. xxPAYDBX 2020 - #01 Pd £15,029.29 / £13,140.66 - 114% 🎉

Having paid off £20,000 in the past 4 years. I have £800 left. This has been, at times an almighty struggle. I am no longer working but I think there are ways and means of achieving this so I am certainly in for being debt free by Xmas.
It will be the best Xmas for many years.SCP # 034
