Hi All,
I signed up for a news letter for a yearly subscription and paid it in advance.
now they are trying to auto renew it and saying if I don't pay it they can't cancel it .
my argument is I haven't requested it to be renewed nor have received anything saying it will be renewed
their is it was in my T&C
to be fair for a £20 a year subscription , I didn't read the full T&C and have not even verified this.
if I ignore it, is there much they can do ?

You can always cancel, no matter what any jumped up little twerp may tell you, cause there usually only telling you what they've been told to say, as they don't have a clue themselves.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. This isn't a recurring payment from a credit card is it?0

How did you pay it the first time?
If it's a recurring payment on either a debit or credit card, they may just process the payment.
You can cancel recurring payments with your bank as well as the merchant.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Budgeting & Bank Accounts, Credit Cards, Credit File & Ratings and Energy boards. You should be able to cancel the payment or get a refund if it's been recently taken. If they continue being difficult make a formal complaint in writing.0
