Other drivers getting aggravated when turning

This was something that used to happen to me when I lived in London. Didn't see it round here until recently.
Basically, you want to turn left off a busy 30mph single carriageway road. You indicate in plenty of time then slow down gradually. Perfectly normal as you can't make a 90 degree turn at 30mph.
In the meantime, the driver behind decides to sound their horn, maybe flash their lights then overtake aggressively.
I checked my indicators are working, which they are.
Seriously don't see what their problem is. That they were delayed on their journey by 15 seconds by someone wanting to turn left!

I drive thousands of miles a month and I've never had that nor even seen that behaviour. Are you slowing down too early or breaking sharply too late or as my late dad would say when someone blew their horn at him, they must know me!0

I've never had it happen to me. If its happening regularly to you maybe you're slowing down too much too soon thats causing other drivers to have to drive round you / brake behind you?0 -
If you're only travelling at 30mph, how does it take you fifteen seconds to slow enough to turn?
Therein lies the problem, methinks.I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.

Or are you positioning yourself on the right hand side of the road to make the turn, noticed lately a lot of people tuning left are well over to the right to make the turn & vice versa when turning right.ANURADHA KOIRALA ??? go on throw it in google.0

The lane is just wide enough for one car, so I just stay in the middle of the lane.
Well, you're clearly doing something wrong...0 -
Is the left hand lane an acceleration lane, even a short one?
Are you too hesitant?
Cannot make a 90 degree turn at 30mph? are you sure on that? Never had it happen to me. But i dont sit at junctions looking at large gaps thinking nope i wont make it.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

That's the trouble nowadays. These "modern" cars filled with TLAs can survive manoeuvres that 10 years ago would have had you crawling out of the wreckage and walking home.
A 90 degree turn at 30mph would likely put my car onto its side if the road was grippy, or see it opposite locking across the road like Clarkson is at the wheel
No doubt on a "modern" cars a couple of TLA lights would flicker on the dashboard.I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

Cant make a sharp 90 degree turn??
Us boy racers of the 90's hot hatch era just use the handbrake :-)0
