    ive tried that but with no luck i dont know if he was deffo in the army but my granma was made an orphan about 1920 just an idea i was clutchin at

    try joining one of the sites i gave you, if you havn't already, they are very good at breaking down brick walls!! But you know some family stories are not true, i have found a few out this way!!:D

    This is what im wondering cos i ben lookin in a series of years for there deaths but odd i carnt find husband and wife i was wondering if they left for some reason and my gran was told they died you just never know do u...

    Have you tried not going on the first names? I have so many where they messed abt with their names, one name on a marriage cert, different from say, a birth cert of the child! Take my great nan, she was Isabella Kate at birth, Isabel Kathleen on marriage and Kathleen at death!!! Do you have your grans birth cert?

    just carnt understand why i carnt find either he was sydney christopher smith and she was violet louisea randall ive tried christopher sydney still no luck its hiding somewhere grrrrrrr lol

    you know sometimes a entry does not get put onto the BMDs, by the local authority, mistakes happen and they can get left off, i have this happen once, yet when i wrote to the local reg office they found it!!

    I would try writing and ask them to do a search, giving as much details as you can. they may charge a small fee, birmingham didnt.
