So I'm off on my second trip to Vegas in November and on the first trip I used MyVegas rewards and plan to again. First trip I only got enough gold coins to get a couple of show tickets but this time I've built up more. My understanding is that you can only redeem 3 MyVegas rewards (for those available in MGM properties) in a 30 day period. However note that there are other rewards that aren't in MGM properties so they don't have this restriction. Most of these rewards will expire within 90 days when you've chosen them (check the T & C's).
To maximise your rewards looking at the terns and conditions I would suggest getting show tickets well in advance as it would appear they are redeemed once the show tickets are purchased for example I have already got show tickets for my November trip. This should therefore leave me with the 3 MGM rewards to use when I am there and I plan to choose these in the next month or so so I don't fall foul of the 90 day reward expiry date. I will also get some non MGM rewards on top of that.
Theoretically it should mean I should get 3 shows, 3 buffets and some other bits and pieces. One thing to note is that I have already got x2 shows and booked these online using MLife, however tried to book the 3rd show on MLife but it would appear that this option wasn't available to book online, but it was a show I had previously seen back in May and was able to book online before and they appear they might have removed the online booking feature which now means the cost of a phone call to the States and a booking fee which you avoided when booking online.
Hope that helps, those more experienced in using MyVegas might add/correct the stuff I've contributed above.
As Pebbles says show tickets are included in the 30 day rule and are redeemed when used not when bought.
I also think you can only use a reward once per year so you may not be able to use the 3rd reward although I guess they would have stopped you purchasing it on the game if that was the case0 -

We were having the same problem before we left.
I've set my VPN to the U.K. And it's still the same stuff. Plenty of 241's but no outright purchases of dinner buffets. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -

You are right Pebblesmax, I've gone through the T & Cs and it's not the redemption date but the moment you take your seat for a show.
Anyway I mentioned above that they appear to have removed the option on the email to book show tickets online and you have to phone incurring a cost of not only the phone call to the USA but a booking fee as well.
There is however a workaround for this in that if you use this link and after the / add your redemption code on the email you can still book show tickets online, the link is:
mlife.com/mgm-web/deeplink/en/v1/myvegas/
Also was having the error code saying they couldn't link my MLife account with MyVegas account, I was using Google Chrome, tried a different browser logging in on both MLife and MyVegas and it sorted it out and was able to book my last show tickets this evening!
Hope that helps peeps!0 -
BA to re-start Gatwick to LAS flights 27th March in time for Easter 18 http://mediacentre.britishairways.com/pressrelease/details/86/News-1/8756
Might be worth a search for a good flight+hotel or flight+car deal since the flights have just gone on sale.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -

There is plenty of redemption places available for this and next year at both LHR and LGWThe common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. Anyone that uses Lyft in Vegas and going to be here over the Labor Day weekend and beyond there is a special promo available to existing and new uses. LDW17 gets you $5 off your next 2 rides.
This is nothing to do with me just something I picked up off their siteThe common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. Thanks for that code Stoneman. Added it to my Lyft account at Heathrow and used it for our Lyft to Westin last night when we arrive.
Well it''s hot here just now, really warm when we went out last night at nearly 10pm! We stayed out and hour and a half maybe, walked through Linq promenade, Cityzen drinks at AmeriCAN, then over to Cromwell for some slots. Won $10 but never managed to get a free drink. Seems really busy. It's 5am, been awake over an hour (yes, the jetlag). Pool this morning, then picking up our hire car at TI at 3pm.0 -
