  • i'm thinking if we have to pay £30pp to reserve seats together anyway (which we would do), then an extra £10pp for the extra room is a no-brainer?

I would grab the extra leg room like a shot. I did return from Cape Town (12 hours) in economy with VA. We had exit row seats with no-one in front, and even so, I vowed there and then never to fly long haul in economy again!

That's a shame you're not seeing any deals. Do you have a higher MLife status? Could be worth doing a Stuie special and calling Aria/Vdara to see what they can offer you, as a regular.

I'm not so keen on the exit rows as I always see people walking in front, waiting for the toilet and stuff. But these seats are just behind the exit row :)

I have zero MLife status unfortunately, we last visited April 2014... We were only casual gamblers too. We've been to Vegas four times and stated the Vdara on each occasion, not sure if they'll recognise loyalty, but an email can't hurt I guess :))

I always book the exit seats, especially if you can get the bubble upstairs. It is annoying when people stand in the space however its a lot better than someone reclining their seat into your legs!

we get the bubble on the flight home, so have booked my fave seats for that journey :)

I've got the bubble there and back, and my preferred PE seats (last row). I was surprised, considering how many months ago the flights would have been released before I booked. :)

I'm watching like a hawk though as VA have a bad habit of changing the aircraft a few months before departure and not informing you, and randomly allocating you a seat. I got caught out last trip when I'd booked the front two Upper Class seats on the 747, and then they switched to an Airbus. I happened to spot it when I logged into my Virgin account, and I managed to get the second and third from the front, but the people who ended up next to us were really put out that they hadn't got the seats they'd booked.

It depends on the reward. The t&c's are different for them all.

Which one are you thinking of getting.

as far as im aware you ll be fine in getting that without staying at an mgm property- though you will need an m-life card-which is free
you can get the card at any m-life desk and when you wanna redeem the bellagio reward you go to the m-life bellagio m-life desk, tell them you wanna redeem the reward, and give them the m-life card and i d recommend you write down- the code you get for the reward and they will put it on your card .then you go to the belllagio breakfast, tell them you are redeeming it hand them your card, they swipe it and bingo !!

    hope this helps
  • bobbyhibs you've helped no end thank you !!! I have the m-life card already .
